  1. Found on Reddit, don't ban me please
  2. ...and we have our first death
  3. 69 cases in San Marino
  4. 16 new cases already today in Poland, definitely the biggest jump so far. The total is 47, no deaths so far but that'probably just a matter of time so far. I have a really bad feeling we're going to end up as Italy 2.0 Our government claims they're doing everything they can, and locking the borders but I can tell you right now it's a total lie. I have personally crossed our border with Czechia 4 times yesterday and not once have I been stopped at the border. Also, more and more doctors claim they're running out of tests and supplies, so I guess the "best" is still to come.
  5. All schools, universities, museums, cinemas etc. Now closed for 2 weeks in Poland
  6. 3 new cases in Poland
  7. Volleyball champions league quarterfinal match between Cucine Lube Civitanova and Knack Roeselare scheduled for tommorow has also been cancelled due to coronavirus.
  8. Not gonna lie, some of the data sounds scary, but then again, we've survived both Ebola and Zika outbreaks, not to mention the 2009 Swine Flu pandemic which allegedly infected over 1 billion people and killed nearly 250,000 of them,. So yeah, unless suddenly Kuru appears and breaks into an epidemic somewhere nearby I don't think there's a reason for panic.
  9. Actually, those are simply virus subtypes, the disease that caused the infection was influenza.
  10. Who even came up with the name Covid-19? sounds like a name for a phone model. Are there any other diseases with numbers in their name?
  11. That one time Austrian Volleyball team went to Ukraine to play a friendly match and were greeted with German anthem and Latvian flag
  12. Ski jumping continental cup competition in Zakopane cancelled.
  13. Guess its now time for us to suffer that major rise in confirmed cases 6 new already today, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than 20 tomorrow morning.
  14. Our government wants to make ignoring quarantine quarantine punishable with up to a year in prison. I think that's a good idea, especially when we get cases like in Oman, where a dude infected with the virus skipped quarantine and went to a mosque to pray 12 cases so far in Poland, one person is in bad condition.
  15. 4 new cases in Poland
  16. Pools have been set for the qualification to Mens and Women's 2021 European Volleyball Championship. For men, the tournament wll qualify all 7 group winners + 5 best second placed teams. For women, top 2 teams from all 6 groups will qualify to the final tournament. The pre-qualified teams are: , , , (Hosts) and , , , , , , , (Top 12 teams in the 2019 edition) Pool A: Pool B: Pool C: Pool D: Pool E: Pool F: All matches will be played Home & Away, from 15/08 to 06/09 2020
  17. Meanwhile in Poland
  18. No new cases in Turkey and North Korea and only 2 confirmed in Russia? KIiiiinda hard to believe
  19. Regardless if Sanders wins the preliminaries I think this is a huge success for him already.
  20. Same thing with our local hospital in Polanica-Zdroj. When I was visiting my mom 2 days ago, there already have been rumors that they've administered someone with coronavirus and yesterday when I was trying to visit her the hospital was not allowing any visitors. I wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to keep it quiet, especially since Polanica-Zdroj is a very small town of about 8.000 inhabitants and any major cities like Walbrzych or Wroclaw are like 70-80 km away. As far as I know, there's not even a train connection between Polanica-Zdroj and any of them, so if they were to confirm that somehow coronavirus apppeared there out of thin air, many people would probably start to panic.
  21. Wow, I did not expect that, they really did something big today
  22. Wait, what, we are winning against Kazakhstan
  23. Wait, we play the Olympic qualification We are probably one of the weakest teams in Europe, what are we even doing here
  24. Well, probably a much better ranking system, I like that now every match result will be calculated, but still, why don't they use decimals ? It would make it much more clear to understand. I mean, currently Mexico and China have 136 points each and are ranked 25th and 26th respectively, but Dominica and Haiti, which have 58 points, are both ranked 88th, so there has to be a difference. It would be much better if they used decimal formula, for example a team could have 123.75 points, the next team would have 123.25 points etc.
