  1. I was only talking about the cauldron lol But since you talked about this, let me elaborate a bit: Both ceremonies might feel similar at a glance but for me Chengdu is more successful in integrating the culture with modern technology. Chengdu's ceremony screams "Look, this is Sichuan" to foreigners while Hangzhou is too philosophical (plus contained too many AR - which I never liked) despite strong start at the artistic segment about the river.
  2. Chengdu Universiade is better for me, the Hangzhou guys trying to show off their technology but as you said the cauldron did not have the wow factor
  3. Yes but the sport selection are up to the Malaysians
  4. Aaaaand it’s Hong Kong, China
  5. https://bio.link/minkhudukstreaming Copy the CH1-6 links on “Open Network Stream” menu in VLC Media player. RTM (with Malaysia VPN) also have some https://sukanasia2022.rtm.gov.my/utama That’s some of the safest alternative I can offer you guys
  6. Sri Lanka rugby with their OCA badge patch on their chest
  7. I rushed down to the TV in the living room with toothbrush still inside my mouth to see it
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC4WXRzpbkU If you have Indonesian VPN, they said opening ceremony will be available here
  9. I don’t think there will be any. Maybe try your luck after the opening. Unless you’re alright watching events from links that can be opened at VLC player
  10. Should've brought our famous MotoGP rain shaman to Hangzhou
  11. Malus VPN + watching at Miguvideo is what I am using (they're having a promotion of Standard VIP for USD 1.36/30 days), maybe the downside is that you need to know some Chinese and bear the 60s unskippable ad https://www.miguvideo.com/p/home/16ed73096e0244d1ba1034d973a020fe
  12. Glad my USD 1.5 investment is working well So far only CCTV is broadcasting something
  13. VPN will help you... MeWatch for example. Maybe some countries will be kind enough to stream it on Youtube I just subscribed to a Chinese VPN so I can follow everything from CCTV, as I decided not to give a single cent to the company that has the broadcasting rights in Indonesia
  14. @MHSN Rahmat Erwin will be competing in 73 kg. And as you might expect, the SecGen of our federation also said in the article that "our aim in IWF World Championships is just because of the Paris 2024 requirement, the real target is the Asian Games" https://sport.detik.com/sport-lain/d-6931008/lifter-ri-rahmat-erwin-bersiap-untuk-asian-games-2023
  15. Haven't been following this Championship closely but for now the coach is simply testing Rahmat in 81 kg for the WC. Maybe I'll try to contact the coach and ask him about the Asian Games entry.
  16. Fantastic result for Iberle, his breaststroke times during SEA Games training camp was better than all of his seniors so this boy is a future star. Now it’s time to see how people will react to the venue of the Championships
  17. There are a lot of kids queueing so I did not try in order not to ruin their moment But I suck in precision so getting the bags through should be a tough one
  18. @Olympian1010 Cornhole invasion at the fan zone!
  19. View from my seat (the second cheapest category lol)
  20. Lots of Latvians here, so far from the nearest shopping mall to the venue I only met 2 real Brazilians (the others Brazilian supporters are mostly Indonesians wearing Brazilian shirts )
  21. Got the ticket for vs tomorrow! Can't wait to see the local fans in Indonesia Arena, or maybe I should say the second Riga Arena
  22. BWF to allow Russian and Belarusians to compete as neutrals starting from February 2024
  23. And it was Astrup/Rasmussen who advanced to the final! Real surprise!
  24. Canada vs France was the only sold out match so far in Indonesia. Funnily enough Bertans said that he hoped at least 2,000 local people come when journalists asked him during their training session (probably thinking basketball is not that popular here)
