  1. Well, I'm not sure what is our final position, but points-wise, it was our 2nd worst finish, but I had a lot of fun. I had chosen Candyman to represent us this year when I first heard the song in February 2016, but as I said earlier, R&B songs do as well here as rap does at Eurovision, but it felt nice to lead the scoreboard for the first time (thanks to Indonesia's 12 points), so with that... 12 11 9 8 4 2 1 Thank you @Griff88 @Werloc @Janakis @Ruslan @Il_qar @vovanA @bestmen @intoronto and @uk12points for the points. And I just realized that I gave points to the winner 3 times now (and 2 in a row). I guess the song has to be THAT good in order to strike a chord with me since I'm the one with a vastly different taste.
  2. I think the key word was almost. I'm sure OlympicsFan knows where Bob Marley came from.
  3. Wow, I am stupid. I'm here thinking Brazil would somehow give up the bronze to Iran and we still have two countries to go. WTF!
  4. Same, but this time, I don't blame the UK. It was the only one that could win.
  5. Just watch... Brazil will give at least 8 points to Iran to give up the bronze.
  6. Brazil hasn't voted yet. Will they make the same mistake Team USA make in Open 2016? Who knows?
  7. Now hold up New Zealand, you can't just out-shock us with unforeseen results.
  8. I don't remember either. I guess that gives @dcro something to do off season
  9. When you have more points than Ireland for the first time in history...
  10. I don't eat them often (usually when there's no other choice since I live in a suburb outside Orlando).
  11. I don't mind the UK winning again. It would be messed up tho if the UK got points from all 7 committee countries but Serbia still wins.
  12. I don't know if they can, but I think the people living in the Bahamas better sue the organizers for making their country look bad. Oh well, we'll see what happens. But Twitter went ham on the attendees.
  13. Anyway, this contest provides more entertainment for a fraction of the cost than those people who flew to the Bahamas expecting a music festival. Have you heard about that?
