  1. Streaming problems apparently. You could use a vpn from any Latin American country But you can follow livescoring
  2. Check previous posts for live results and streaming
  3. Yeah probably that's how they're missinterpreting their own rules. Sad
  4. Indeed a huge mess with the qualification system. Donovan Carrillo is saying the cut ofr Beijing was place 19th, so he missed out.
  5. Women's, then Men's
  6. It will start at 20:00 CET, so if you have time to spare.
  7. @hckošice if you want to cheer the ecuadorians. Should work with a Latin American VPN
  8. Well done Donovan While not a flawless skate, he never fell and maintained control and energy all trough his program and earned a new PB in both FP and total score Now he can’t finish lower than 20th at worlds, quite proving he deserves a place in Bejing, when I hope he can finally break that 210.00 in total score.
  9. Before Sochi it was a general winter sports federation, and only ice hockey had a separate body. Now we have an independent ski federation which is also overseeing biathlon; in fact those two athletes are former cross country competitors, so I’m guessing the plan is to continue looking for talents in the later and select one or two of them for biathlon
  10. Is Trusova’s 12th to 3rd the biggest climb in position at WCh?
  11. Well they could always get worse, after all those guys are already thirty something. But let's hope the national federation starts recruiting new talents for Biathlon races in the future.
  12. Alongside Ecuador & the Dominican Republic. Tragedy for Cuba, as they should have advanced at least one of their archers into next round. v. for a semis spot @hckošice. And who knows? If or manage to get a second girl, then we'll have a surprise qualifier
  13. Well, biggest suprise of the day is José Alvarez Muñoz going into QF @hckošice It will be an interesting match between him and always unpredictable Luis Álvarez. Though luck for Argentina @konig, as Jajarabilla fought well but in the end Soto's experience gave him the win. Still, I think this guy might be one to follow in coming years.
  14. If they are capable of bribing IHF to let them qualify for Worlds and eventually Olympics, I guess they could just add a girl, even if only for political correctness.
  15. The reallo atipn method is official The qualifying countries are a simulation.
  16. That means the quotas will be taken by the NOC of the best ranked paddler of the continent in the World Rankings, which if stay the same until the end of the qualification period, are: C1 M: C1 W: K1 M: K1 W:
  17. I think in this ocassion you’re closer than in previous ones Mexico hasn’t shown a great difference with any other team
  18. 49er : After 16 Races 101 pts - Q 125 pts 140 pts 49er FX: After 16 Races 113 pts - Q 145 pts 152 pts 172 Pts 181 pts 221 pts Nacra 17: After 16 Races 105 pts -Q 128 pts 142 pts 166 pts 230 pts 233 pts ——— 299 - Q
  19. Well, since no one else comments on the results of the Championship proper, I'll do a quick review of the Qualification tournament, and my picks for the 3 quotas per gender. Women's Draw QF1: Dos Santos is probably the strongest shooter of the tournament and it will be a big surprise if she doesn't get the quota. Sadly for Argentina, their biggest chance for a spot (Leithold) is in this same key and had a little dissapointing performance today, but she can hope to the best loser amongst quarterfinalists, if only Brazilians and Canadians go into semifinals. QF2: The spot in the semis should be contested between Canetta and Rodriguez, the later being her country's best hope to be in Tokyo. QF3: On paper this is the weakest part of the draw, as none of the competitors has big results at the international stage. Edwards is on paper the top seeded competitor; if she avoids an upset from her rivals, particularly the Dominican Jerez, then her country will 99.9% compete in mixed doubles at the Olympics. QF4: Canadian Barret has shown good form all week and will either face her countrywoman Chenier or Brazil's Machado for a spot in semis, that will mostly go to her. Qualifying NOC's: 1) 2) 3) Outside chance: Men's Draw QF1: This section will be a bloodbath with some regrettable casualties. has all his archers in this key and either Aguilar or Soto should advance to semis. However, Jajarabilla is a dark horse if he repeats today's performance at the main tournament. QF2: This could be the best chance for archers to get their pride back after 3 or so years of mediocre performances, but unfortunately I don't think it will be the case. Either Pila or Franco are most likely to get their mind focused and go into semifinals. QF3: Very interesting draw here. Cuba's Stevens is way past his prime as so is Mexican Álvarez, but given their performances so far, the later should face another Cuban (Puentes) to decide who completes the last 4. QF4: Not surprisingly has two archers in this section and should be considered favorite to advance; D'Anour however could still have some powder in store and finish ahed both of them like in today's direct elimination rounds and give his NOC their first ticket to Tokyo. Qualifying NOC's: 1) 2) 3) Outside chance:
  20. Group B 2 - 1 1 - 1 So now we have the semifinal matches for Sunday. Winners will be in Tokyo. v. v.
  21. Oh I read about her win yesterday, too bad she couldn't win a point against Kerber, but this should keep her in contention for one of the Continental places at Tokyo.
  22. If the second italian pair gets less than 102.86 in their segment they could alao be in, if I’m not mistaken
  23. I’ve just view his score sheet Like we hoped he skate real clean and landed every jump.
