  1. Btw, also good showing for Auchentaller & Passler with Top 20/30 finishes. Weronika Nowakowska started talking too much as usual even going as far as saying how she spend holidays with Wierer twice before. Just no spicy details
  2. The 1000 tournament in Indian Wells has started. Slower courts & winds increasing the DF count are to be expected. Marta Kostyuk made 17 DF in R1 loss to Rebecca Peterson. But Camila Giorgi beat Arantxa Rus and will play Jessica Pegula in R2 (for like the 4th time in the last twelve months). Top 32 seeds don't start until tomorrow.
  3. 1-2 with Wierer & Vittozzi in the Ostersund individual
  4. Would be interesting if active athletes have spoken instead? Retired ones have literally nothing to lose so they can talk whatever they want to.

  6. Ravens placed non-exclusive franchise tag on Lamar Jackson so he might have played his last game in Baltimore. Let's see what he finds on the market but I doubt someone will give him 250m fully guaranteed what he wants... Meanwhile Giants went haywire. 160 million to a guy who had 15 pass TD last season. No offense but Daboll might have to pull more rabbits out of his hat now...
  7. And there it is. Good choice for Carr, a domed team in a "rebuilding" division plus probably the best defense he's had the entire career.
  8. Donna Vekic wins Monterrey 250 beating top seed Caroline Garcia 6-4 3-6 7-5 in the final. All came down to break point conversion, Vekic 3/3, Garcia 2/16
  9. That is some big ass trophy for a ITF W60 tournament! WTA would be proud. Who says Slovakians can't go big in life (outside of hockey life ) @hckošice
  10. Marta Kostyuk wins her first WTA title in Austin 6-3 7-5 over Varvara Gracheva in the final. Wilson and their red dress can be proud they signed her at the right time when she can maybe make a run towards Top 30 of the rankings this season. Obviously there was no handshake at the end given Kostyuk's previous comments.
  11. Marcus Ericsson comes through the carnage to win the St. Petersburg race
  12. Kyle Kirkwood joins the ski flying efforts...
  13. IndyCar season started in St. Petersburg with a ski jumping effort from Devlin DeFrancesco. Everyone walked away.
  14. Llopis is conscious but could be a concussion? He whacked the ground with the side of his head there.
  15. wins the medal table. As if you think biathlon and nordic skiing was enough for them...
  16. Let's see if Jakub Szymański can become the most surprising medallist at these champs...
  17. Hurske 7.79 NR wins women's 60H. Just a tad slower than Skrzyszowska's EL time...
  18. Four gold medals for at these EIC. Talk about the best ratio per capita
  19. Iapichino 6.97, NR in back-to-back jumps and goes into silver...
  20. Iapichino 6.91 NR and Mihambo off the podium
  21. Still no official results for men's 800 on the EA site so I presume the protest is on...
  22. Hodgkinson wins women's 800 ahead of Horvat.
  23. So the order was for the 1000 race alone and not the final standings. Meh...
  24. Sorry, watching F1 Grand Prix at the same time
  25. Verstappen wins Bahrain GP ahead of Perez. Alonso 3rd which suggests Aston Martin testing pace is genuine and they can mix it up at front (at least until the usual development race heats up). Sainz 4th then Hamilton, Stroll and Russell. Mercedes almost 50 secs off the pace so on the back foot again. Leclerc retired from 3rd place with power loss so Ferrari doesn't even tease they can keep up with Red Bull already.
