Though we are getting so many medals in ISSF World Cup i am not going too much into details with weak field. But a WC is a WC so it should be lauded on the performance. Hope our shooters maintain the good form and deliver in Olympics, main is the temperament in such events. India is leading the table and hope few shooters get valuable ranking points to get some surprise knocking at the WR chances.

Ganemat came very close yesterday. At present :GBR is sure of Olympic quota but if she wins the quota at European qualifiers, it would go to :KAZ. If Ganemat had gotten silver instead of Bronze, she would have been next in line to :GBR instead of :KAZ

We are eligible for ranking quota only in 25m Pistol Men, Skeet W and Trap M/W. Skeet was a narrow miss. In Trap Men, we have to win Gold and hope that :ITA gets European quota, anything else is not good enough. In Trap Women, we have to overcome 350 point gap over :IRL and hope that :POL wins the European quota. In 25m Pistol Men, there are only 15 entries, 4 of whom are not eligible. So, out of the remaining 11 shooters (:INDx3, :NGRx2, :GBRx2, :EST, :BRA,  :KAZ, :POL) the one who finishes highest will get the ranking quota. There is an additional quota on offer at European Championships, so the one finishing second also has a chance.

Indian badminton team would look to gain valuable points in Orleans masters. Especially in WD points should be gained by Ashwini/Sikki good opportunity for them.
