Venus Williams unfortunately loses in the first round of the Australian Open, but she set a record for oldest participant.  She lost to Olga Danilovic , who still had another three years to be born when Venus first played in the Australian Open.

Very few upsets so far which is an upset itself.  Elina Svitolina just dismissed Cori Gauff 6-1 6-2 and is back into "live" Top 10 rankings.

Yes, he's struggling with his fitness, but in this form ang age, Djokovic probably won't even win a one set against Sinner. As of today, Alcaraz is unfortunately the favorite to win the final.

What a great semifinals today in men's single Nole, please never retire Absolutely amazing player at almost 39 yearsHe has break against Sinner in 5th set. I hope to see him this Sunday in the final against Alcaraz.

Sinner is committing suicide today: 0/9 in breaks in the fifth set... He's been in poor form since the start of this tournament. I'd love to see Djokovic win the final, but that probably won't happen.
