Amit Panghal (5) has Chinyemba  (8) in pre quaters and Panmot  (6) in quaters. A good bronze chance. 

Nishant Dev(7) has Rodriguez  (17) in pre quaters and Marco Velde  (2) in quaters.

Manu did qualify for the finals..Sarabjot's non qualification probably the only disappointment for today. The mixed rifle event was always going to be very difficult for us.

The best part is we have not lost any athletes today. Our contingent is still intact after Day 1. All our athletes won their KO matches. 
Apart from Sarabjot & 10M AR mixed team results, we had a very positive day.

Only Preeti was in danger today apart from Tennis Men’s Doubles which was canceled. 
Harmeet is part of the TT team event.

Harmeet's event was a preliminary round of Men's Singles event and not a part of Men's team event.

Harmeet was not in a risk to say “good bye “ to Paris Olympics as he is also part of Men’s TT.

Obviously it was a Men’s Singles event, even if he had lost that , he would have another event left in Paris.
