It's not like Hess was much slower than Knox in the breaststroke. He can swim the heats of both relays, maybe even the finals should he improve between now and the Olympics.

One of the editors at swimswam reached out to World Aquatics about Penny's situation and finally got a response.

Despite having the consideration time, she would not be allowed to swim the individual 100 free because she's a relay only athlete. So she needs the OQT.

However, if she doesn't get the OQT, one of Maggie or MSH would still be able to swim because they also both have the consideration time + an OQT in another event.

  If Slovakia can hold out mentally, they will probably be a slight favorite. Sramkova and the doubles are in better shape than Paolini and Paolini-Errani. But yesterday Paolini played a great match against Swiatek... I`m not going to predict the final result.

  this is something I would never have bet for in my life. Crazy Lipták could not reach a success in 2013 with a team of Hantuchová, Cibulková & Rybarikova and now managed the final with a bunch of complete underdogs... that is some san marino-esque story here anyway, whatever will happen in the final tomorrow already super proud

  6-2, 5-2... Tomorrow will be very hard for us. For me will be ideal 50/50. Will be 2-0 for Italy, 0-2 for Svk or all decider in doubles. I hope that our experience will be key. Today Slovakian doubles it`s fantastic.

  Yeah, I've read opinions that some Israel intelligence agents within Hamas ranks convinced Hamas to make the attack since Netanyahu is weak and the response would be limited but this is just what Netanyahu needed to fight a sudden enemy and it only helped his political status when some thought he is truly heading for the exit door. This kind of charade isn't anything new in politics, the same way de Gaulle "needed" OAS in the early 60s and they were at least inspired by inside French government agents to begin with.
