That would be stupid to retire one year before the Olympics. It's not like there are 5 other Polish jumpers who are better than him. On the contrary, Poland is in a slight slump currently and no one stands out. -
An American in top 10 is totally unexpected Frantz has a lot of potential, but let's see if he can keep up with the consistency. The US investing in the renovation of the Lake Placid hills is starting to give positives. And they are going to make a brand new hill for Ski-flying in Northern Michigan next year, which could be used in the summer as well.

If it's him and not -let's say- Samaranch Jr, the near future looks kinda bleak for the Russians I guess. -
