World championships in Hoogerheide getting underway, junior women right now and Canada doesn't have one girl in the lead group...but two  And they're twins, and strong!

And it's an old-fashioned 1-2, gold for Isabella Holmgren, silver for Ava Holmgren

According to the Commentators they have to be based in  because  just does not have the high-quality mud that you need for cyclo-cross domination.

Which wasn't even broadcast on Belgian or Dutch TV, so I had basically missed it's existence  

 

Win is a win though, I guess, although on Belgian TV this morning during the women's junior race they basically ignored it and called today the opening day

Don’t think it’s anywhere, not on Discovery or YT.

Specifically the mixed relay, yes. Of course Belgian TV does show all of the other events, from women's juniors up to the men's elite, it's just the mixed relay that's largely ignored everywhere, it seems  

 

Netherlands had Ryan Kamp of all places as the men's elite rider in the relay...oh well, good enough

Even  the BBC is showing some races.

All three elite races in fact.

But strangely not the women's U23 race where the British rider is a hot favourite for a medal
