The first trimester ended on the 22.12.24, which for sure means those results will not count. 2nd trimester ended on 26.01.2025. all results after that will count for sure. Not sure about the 2nd trimester as qualification period lasts until 18.01.2026. I would assume only last trimester of this season plus all events next year until 18.01 will count, but that’s my view. If correct the current list is not really saying much. -
Aroud there. It's probably a budget issue. For example, archery will send 3 ( 2 women and 1 one man) when they qualified exactly that amount. But wrestling has been given only 4 quota spots. -

I think (but really not sure) the current points take into account the whole season 24/25. For the Olympics only two trimesters will count from this season plus first trimester next year. I don’t know the trimester definition /dates but we can assume that all results before Christmas will not count.

I do think Germany has a very good generation coming up, but next season is probably still too early for them to really be consistently fighting for top-10 results (with Grotian as the exception). But in terms of overall strength, yeah there is just no denying France being way, way ahead of the rest in the women's field. Like the Norwegian men, they can realistically field two teams in a relay that can both be on the podium, that's amazing. -
Anyone knows how the Poland/Ukraine switch means Brazil dropped a spot in the reallocation ranking and now is 23rd instead of 22nd there?
