The first event is set to take part this week, you can watch and see results here.

This is an Olympic qualification series where the top 10 eligible men and top 8 eligible women qualify to the Olympics (max two athletes per nation per event and they must finish in the top 34 and 18 respectively).

The eligibility requirements likely won't matter too much for the men (outside of the two athletes per nation rule for :AUS :BRA :USA ), but for the women it might. Only seven eligible athletes are part of the main group, but the first injury reserve is from :POR and thus could sneak into the Olympics should she get enough appearances. She is set to compete in this event, replacing :FRA Defay who needs to get better soon lest she gives up what is essentially a free quota.

An amazing start for Fioravanti, he is obsessed for Olympics. Peterson also was very disappointed when lost the second quota for USA. Both will battle for these places.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
