Lilianna Batori improving her high jump pb from 1.91 [which she achived this year in udine finishing second behind yaroslva] to 1.93 in banska bystrica[very good first effort at 1.96 aswell],she's just 17,placed 4 in the comp,taking the scalps of Morgan lake and 2 meter jumper Lamara Distin.Excited to hopefully see her at european indoors. -

Another good performance by the Italian team. It's a shame about Carrara's last 3 misses. Unfortunately, due to injuries and illnesses of our 2 best girls: Vittozzi and Wierer, we can't count on more at these World Championships. I hope that this season's bad luck will run out and everything will be fine next season. -
