I also was surprised to not see any French jumper at first moment but later I realized that some weeks ago I read that both Vincent Descombes Sevoie and Ronan Lamy Chappuis retired after previous season and I don't remember any other French jumper who would compete in the highest level in recent years.

Jonathan Learoyd was best French in last year World Cup

Learoyd had some awesome results/jumps and some mediocre ones, but he's definitely a very good contender to become a steady World Cup jumper

It's confirmed that Vikersund has been included in the World Cup 2018/19 season and as part of the Raw Air Tour. This come after a discussion about safety standards at the hill.

The surface/snow is not great, many falls.

 

Also, Kasai doesn't qualify for sunday...
