What did you all think of NBCs coverage of the games? This Olympics has made me realize how much I miss Bob Costas. @Rdbc@Quaker2001
Have not been very active this olympics. Been super busy trying to catch all the action while trying to avoid spoilers.
Hoping for a repeat of Rio. Also, we had a Table Tennis & Men’s Fencing win so far. Archery will compete in about 5 minutes.
ExpandGood start for Softball team with 2-0 win over Italy in their first game in Tokyo!
Never watched Softball before, was Italy doing surprisingly good or USA not fully warmed up yet?
played well on defense, especially pitching. They do need to play better on offense if they want to beat
.
did play well though. Cicchitti pitched well for them.
I’ll probably stay up until midnight or 1 am ET each day. Still have a part time job & don’t want to mess up my sleep schedule too much. I’ll be able to catch up with all the action throughout the morning and afternoon though.

NBC Olympics updated their website!
Jordan Burroughs will not defend his gold medal in the men’s freestyle wrestling 74kg event. He loses two matches in a row to Kyle Dake in the US Olympic trials & Dake will head to Tokyo. It is the end of an era in USA wrestling. Congrats to Dake! Thanks for the memories Burroughs!

ExpandInteresting article about the national shooting team. I can’t say I see eye to eye with them on a few things...
Hillsdale College is only about a 2 hour drive from where I live, so that’s kinda cool. If they invest money and make a great facility and program than I don’t have an issue.
Tommy Ford is out for the rest of the Alpine Skiing season
ExpandIt’s been a great winter season for the US so far. I hope to see some of the momentum carried into the upcoming world champs.
I’m really hoping for a few medals this weekend in the Luge Wch.
Solid Sunday for Team USA. We had 2 sleds in the top 10 in the women’s 2 man Bobsled WC. Meyers Taylor grabbed bronze in that event & Humphries finished 6th. Also, Tyler Wallasch finished 5th in the ski cross WC. Summer Britcher took bronze in the Women’s luge WC with Farquharson finishing 8th. Also, if any of you have a chance to watch the Kevin Hart & Snoop Olympic highlights show on peacock I would recommend checking it out. I watched a few episodes last night and it was hilarious. It helps cure the post Olympic depression
