Also, if any of you have a chance to watch the Kevin Hart & Snoop Olympic highlights show on peacock I would recommend checking it out. I watched a few episodes last night and it was hilarious. It helps cure the post Olympic depression :p

Good start for Softball team with 2-0 win over Italy in their first game in Tokyo!

Never watched Softball before, was Italy doing surprisingly good or USA not fully warmed up yet?

:USA played well on defense, especially pitching. They do need to play better on offense if they want to beat :JPN:ITA did play well though. Cicchitti pitched well for them.

I’ll probably stay up until midnight or 1 am ET each day. Still have a part time job & don’t want to mess up my sleep schedule too much. I’ll be able to catch up with all the action throughout the morning and afternoon though.

Jordan Burroughs will not defend his gold medal in the men’s freestyle wrestling 74kg event. He loses two matches in a row to Kyle Dake in the US Olympic trials & Dake will head to Tokyo. It is the end of an era in USA wrestling. Congrats to Dake! Thanks for the memories Burroughs!

No medals today in the Luge World Champs. Chris Mazdzer finished 10th after a great 2nd run. Tucker West had a great first run, but bad 2nd run. Our best shot is in the women’s event tomorrow. Hopefully, we can grab some medals in the X games today.

Interesting article about the national shooting team. I can’t say I see eye to eye with them on a few things...

Hillsdale College is only about a 2 hour drive from where I live, so that’s kinda cool. If they invest money and make a great facility and program than I don’t have an issue.

Solid Sunday for Team USA. We had 2 sleds in the top 10 in the women’s 2 man Bobsled WC. Meyers Taylor grabbed bronze in that event & Humphries finished 6th. Also, Tyler Wallasch finished 5th in the ski cross WC. Summer Britcher took bronze in the Women’s luge WC with Farquharson finishing 8th. They then followed that up later with 4th place & 7th place in the sprint event. Emily Sweeney finished 8th in that event as well. Faye Gulini gets another 2nd place finish in the women’s snowboard cross WC. Hagen Kearney & Jake Vedder finished in 3rd & 4th on the men’s side. Brittany Bowe had another great day finishing 6th in the women’s 500m speed skating WC & 1st in the women’s 1000m.
