Dustin Johnson destroys the competition & wins the Northern Trust by 11 strokes!!
I believe he will take over the #1 spot in the world ranking.
ExpandScottie Scheffler shot a 12 under 59 today!!! He becomes the 12th player in Tour history to score lower than 60 in a round. He isn’t even in first place though
Dustin Johnson leads Scheffler by 2 strokes. DJ has 2 eagles & 7 birdies through 11 holes. He could card a 59 as well. What a crazy day so far!
Update: Dustin Johnson finished with a 60

Collin Morikawa with an eagle on par four and with two holes left that should do it IMO.
I don't follow golf that much but I haven't even heard about this guy a few months ago. And he's poised to win a major in only his major start!
Morikawa has won!! I also have never heard of him since the restart, but the guy might be golf’s new superstar. This guy is the future and the future is now. Incredible performance
Heartbreak for Lydia Ko at the LPGA Marathon Classic. She was up 5 strokes on
Danielle Kang after 12 holes, yet Ko loses after 2 bogeys & 1 double bogey in the last 5 holes. Kang had 2 birdies on 14 & 15. What a competition! Kang wins back to back tournaments.
Odd situation just occurred at the 13th hole for Haotong Li. His tee shot apparently hit a tree & nobody could find his ball. The ball could have landed in the tree. As a result, Li had to take a 2 stroke penalty which resulted in a double bogey. Li is now down 2 strokes from the leader. Terribly unlucky
Haotong Li leads after 2 rounds at the PGA Championship. I am sure no one expected that.
Justin Thomas wins the WGC Invitational by 3 strokes.
Daniel Berger,
Tom Lewis,
Phil Mickelson &
Brooks Koepka all tied for 2nd. Up next, is the first major of 2020: PGA Championship.
We have a 6 way tie for 1st place!! Should be an exciting finish
Rickie Fowler is MONEY!!! His third chip in in the tournament.
After 2 rounds Brendon Todd (-11) leads by 2 strokes.
Rickie Fowler (-9) is not far behind.
Byeong Hun An,
Brooks Koepka and
Chez Reavie are at -7. No cut this weekend, so all 78 players will play rounds 3 & 4.
Huge tournament starts today!!! The WGC St Jude Invitational will have 45 of the top 50 players in the world. Tee time is in an hour.
Michael Thompson wins the 3M open (2nd win on tour). Great win, but not a very stacked field this weekend.
Jon Rahm crushes the field & wins the Memorial Tournament by 3 strokes. It would have been by 5, but Rahm was given a 2 stroke penalty for slightly moving his ball with the club (unintentionally) before a chip-in. Rahm moves to #1 in the world after the win.
Interesting stat: only 9 players finished the tournament below par. Also, there was only 1 American in the top 7.
ExpandTwo holes left and Rahm leads by 4.
New world #1 looming...
That incredible chip-in pretty much sealed the win for him.
Weather delay at the Memorial Tournament. Stupid rain
Jon Rahm leads by 4 strokes heading into round 4. As we have seen before, that lead can slip away in a heartbeat.
Jon Rahm with 4 straight birdies!! He is starting to pull away from the field.
Ryan Palmer &
Tony Finau lead the way after 2 rounds at -9.
Jon Rahm is one stroke behind.
Tiger Woods barely made the cut at +3.
Bryson DeChambeau was well on his way to making the cut, but he shot a 10 on the 15th hole to knock him out of the competition.
Collin Morikawa wins the Workday Charity Open over Justin Thomas on a playoff hole. Next week will be the Memorial Tournament highlighted by the return of Tiger Woods!
Collin Morikawa has a 3 stroke lead on the field heading into round 3!!
