yeah! So happy!!! With our new Government things are starting to change, and getting out all the corrupt authorities that plague the institutions the past 4 years. One of them being the COG, now awaiting for new elections.
Good for all the athletes than now can compete.
Guatemala's new president Bernardo Arévalo met with IOC president Thomas Bach today to start the process of lifting the suspension on so our athletes can participate with our flag and represent our country. Finally, with this new government and trying to get rid of all the corruption left by last administration, things are working better.

I'm sure of that, but still I don't like his attitude in the heats/semis...he never gives more than the bare minimum and he's always at risk of being eliminated (it happened more than once in his career, also at the Olympics, when this tactic cost him the 200m back final, 'cause I'm sure he had a lot more than 1.56 in his arms and legs that day)
