I also prefer foursomes rather than fourballs maybe they think of scheduling issues, but a 16-team draw means 4 rounds, which isn't impossible to be accomodated in 2, max 3 days* (and there are more than 3 days between the 2 individual tournaments) *round of 16 in day 1, quarters in the morning of day 2, semis in the afternoon of day 2, finals in day 3 (and pushing the program to the limit, it's also possible to keep the event within 2 days only)

Hi Everyone! Just popping in here to thank @Sindo for his kind invitation over on GamesBids for us members there to pop over and enjoy the Paris 2024 fun here as well. I know there‘s already a few members who cross over between our two sites, and it‘s great to see some cross board cooperation when we all share a common passion for the Olympics.
In turn, I‘d also like to invite any Totallympics members who feel the urge to pop over to GamesBids and join us to celebrate the Games on our board too. It‘s a big time for us as well, and we‘ve got lots of activities, and competitions, in store for the festivities. It‘d be great to see some of you join our membership and join us to discuss the pageantry, politics and minutiae of the games (as well as the sweaty stuff happening at the competition venues). Our LIVE CHAT during the opening ceremony is always particularly popular, and fun.
