Danka Barteková should become a member of the International Olympic Committee again The IOC executive agreed on her nomination at its Thursday's virtual session, which will be officialized at the next IOC session. This will take place in February 2022 in Beijing, shortly before the beginning of the winter olympics. In the past, it has happened quite exceptionally that someone nominated by the IOC executive for membership of the IOC has not been elected in the end. So it looks very promising. She lost her IOC membership after eight years in office on the last day of this year's Tokyo Olympics Games. But the IOC executive yesterday decided to nominate her for full membership. If elected, According to the current Olympic Charter, she could be a member of the organization until she will be 70 years old, so quite a lot of years to come.
