The problem with the ranking system, is that it is build for the big nations and extremely discriminate small countries. Athletes from "unimportant" countries have basically no chance to be invited to big meetings and thus will never win big points to this ranking, so richer will remain richer and send hundreds of athletes while we others minnows will struggle to barely qualify a handful of only our best of the best and also lucky enough athletes who get points at least thanks to national championships, but need there also a performance much more valuable than some others need during the whole period.. my 2 cents

Plenty. Basically Every qualified athlete in Canoe Slalom is eligible to enter the TT (preliminary round) of the Extreme Kayak. Every NOC can field 2 athletes to the start (so both qualified C1 & K1 athlete per gender). The format is still not official, but it should be like at the EG, with best 16 from the TT advancing to the main race (however, there still a possibility to have one more round (Heats) so even 32 paddlers can progress from the qualifiers) - from then it is classical 4 paddlers heat with top 2 (correctly passing the track) advancing to next rounds etc...
