  1. Sweden last semifinalist beating Latvia 3-2
  2. Switzerland in the semifinals after 5 years ! Finland winner of Group B is out
  3. Latvia back in the game. Rudolfs Balcers with a let say weak shoot that surprisingly finished in the net . 2-3
  4. and it´s 3-1 for Sweden. A lot of players around the Latvian goal resulting in a unclear situation, Merzlikins on the ice and Oliver Ekman-Larsson with a easy goal to the empty net
  5. and the first one just realized. second FIN goal of the match. Mikko Rantanen 2-3 and Finland continue with the second minor power play
  6. Great chance for Finland. Double minor penalty for SUI Fora 2+2 minutes for high sticking + blood !
  7. Since the start of 3rd period the Swedes are literally making fire and brimstones on the Latvian defensive zone and it just couldn´t finished otherwise than with a goal in the Elvis Merzlikins net. Viktor Arvidsson scored the goal deflecting a shoot from Ekholm

Moser) 1-3
  9. and no goal ! this was a huge chance, this may really hurt the Latvians...
  10. 2 minutes 2mans advantage power play for Latvia !!!!
  11. Fun fact. In the last 8 quarterfinals that Switzerland played at the world championships they never scored more than 2 goals per match, tonight they already beat it scoring 3 goals
  12. and in 4 minutes it´s from 0-1 now 3-1 for Switzerland, after goals of Joel Vermin and Gregory Hofmann...expecting a time-out for Finland at same time Latvia equalized to 1-1 Teodors Blugers with a great shoot tied the match
  13. Enzo Corvi equalized the score between Finland and Switzerland using the huge activity of Nino Niederreiter, his great pass found Kevin Fiala who didn´t succeeded against Säteri but Corvi was the fastest to the puck and scored
  14. First goal in SWE-LAT match. Filip Forsberg opened the score capitalizing a enormous pressure in the offensive zone. The Latvians tried the video challenge but unsuccessfully, which means goal is approved and Latvia will not have the possibility to use a time-out in this game.
  15. Results after 1st Period Quarterfinal 1A-4B in Copenhagen Sweden - Latvia 0-0 (0-0,-,-) Quarterfinal 1B-4A in Herning Finland - Switzerland 1-0 (1-0,-,-) 07:01 Markus Nutivaara (Koivisto / Rantanen) 1-0
  16. Prediction contests = just for fan at least from now
  17. In SVK we call your hockey team the Suomi , so for some reason I involuntarily written it here too, I know me and my bad habits
  18. 1-0 for Finland in Herning Koivisto with a perfect pass founds Markus Nutivaara in front of the net and the "Suomis" lead 1-0
  19. Sincerely I have no idea. But I´ll be really surprised if SVK will take part of this competition in the soon or later future There absolutely no particular interest in the country about it (if no Totallympics I would barely notice that Israel won it ) and since the show is always scheduled during the Ice Hockey worlds, there no chance the national broadcaster can find any room to schedule it
  20. btw just for anecdote. I predicted +1 for CZE and RUS, talk about a guy who follow ice hockey half of every day of the last +/- 20 years and can not start the day without reading the results and news of hockey even of French or Norwegian leagues. yeah, hockey expert at it´s pure finest
  21. Final Results Quarterfinal 2A-3B in Copenhagen Russia - Canada 4-5 After Overtime (0-1, 2-1, 2-2, OT: 0-1) 04:45 Colton Parayko (McDavid / Eberle) 0-1 31:51 Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (McDavid / Parayko) 0-2 32:59 Ilya Mikheyev (Anisimov / N. Zaitsev / Shoshnikov) 3-3 52:36 Pierre-Luc Dubois (Jost) 3-4 54:34 Artyom Anisimov (Grigorenko / N. Zaitsev) 4-4 64:57 Ryan O´Reilly (McDavid / Ekblad) 4-5 After Overtime Quarterfinal 2B-3A in Herning United States - Czech Republic 3-2 (0-0, 0-2, 1-0) 10:36 Patrick Kane (D. Ryan) 1-0 12:19 Cam Atkinson (Bonino / Gaudreau) 2-0 24:56 Michal Řepík (Faksa / Gudas) 2-1 30:55 Martin Nečas (Pastrňák / Hronek) 2-2 46:58 Patrick Kane (D. Ryan) 3-2
  22. Depend on SUI and LAT results, if both will lose, RUS will be 5th and CZE 6th
  23. No, even after the penalties it´s still counted as +1, only the winning (differential) goal is scored for the stats. so even if you won 4-2 on the penalties after the match ended 1-1 in regulation time, the final score will be 2-1 after PSO
