There have been a couple gorgeous venues used in the first few days. Rowing has been a favorite of mine too (reminds me of Northern California).

Might be one of the more entertaining 1500m swimming finals I’ve watched. Stege comeback was awesome, but gutted for Köbrich who just missed out on a home gold medal after such a long career.

Zhang wins the first of the women’s singles badminton final 21-8. Gai was down 11-1 at start of the set No “chill” between teammates in this one.

Yeah, the venues aren’t as grandiose as Lima and Toronto. They feel on par with CAC Games or SA Games. Maybe that’s a good thing though?

Just caught a replay of the men's wakeboard final... I think it, along with the women's finals, are my favorite events at the Games so far. Broadcast production created a good product, venue announcer kept the energy high, athletes played to the crowd and brought some great tricks. It was just really fun to watch. I'll honestly be a bit sad if water ski/wakeboard is dropped from the program in 2027
