    It’s been a weird cycle. I definitely feel like interest/entries are down from the last edition. It doesn’t help the qualification process has been mildly confusing at best, in most cases.

    I’ve been between jobs for a bit, but earlier this year I began a part-time job with a local youth skateboarding league in Southern California. I just realized one of the skateboarders will be competing in women’s park today. I’ll have to catch a replay, but kind of a neat/odd connection to the Games.

    They both felt very similar. You get the feeling China put together a bunch of manicured, cookie-cutter ceremonies. It lessens their impact for me.

    I really can’t believe an international stream isn’t being offered. What an oversight from the LOC/OCA Both the European Games and Pan American Games were/will be made available internationally on free-to-air streaming services.
