  1. "Germany........? Oh, Spain. Well they're right next to each other. Kind of." Videos of people filming themselves doing some quiz or having some reactions always make me feel like "Sure, you didn't practice this and all your 'reactions' at all" On the bright side: national anthem quiz, I'm always in for that I went wrong at Turkey..
  2. Likely no Wout van Aert in De Ronde on Sunday, he is sick. Also no Israel-Premier Tech at all, since Sep Vanmarcke and Hugo Houle are literally the only two riders in the team fit to race.
  3. This whole thing kind of wrongfully makes it sound like she decided to change sex because of being dropped from the junior programme. Which, you know, theoretically is possible, but extremely unlikely.
  4. At some point they don't have enough classics on the calendar left anymore to be replaced with random races though, so then they're done with turning F1 into...nobody knows what anymore
  5. Axing Spa, of all places, in favour of some faceless tracks nobody has any feeling whatsoever with....yeah, that sounds like Liberty Media alright. Next up is Monza being axed in favour of a race in Oman, Silverstone being thrown out to make place for some random streets in New York and Monaco being replaced by Dubai II, Street Edition. And 30 races, come on. I like F1, a lot, but for fuck's sake don't turn it into NASCAR (which I also like, but for the racing, not the usually absent tension in the championship, other than the last races) where every individual race simply doesn't feel important, because there are so many. Just like random MLB or NBA games do not feel at all important (but NFL does), since there's a shitload of them anyway.
  6. Yeah, like I said. Americanization.
  7. Ugh, on a Saturday night, to make things more annoying and make the whole thing feel even more 'Americanized'. Give it a few years with Liberty in control and we're only racing in the desert and on American streets anymore. Will a regular race have to go to make place for Vegas?
  8. You might joke, but we've actually been talking about that
  9. I had never heard of that but it looks kind of interesting, and I'm digging the Alexander the Great one
  10. And now (Friday night) without supporting on crutches Which by now has already been extended to at least a 100 meter back and forth walk inside the home without even carrying the crutches! https://www.instagram.com/p/CbqX_tZOuxb/
  11. Considering the actions of both, I'm genuinely wondering if 'he' is Will Smith, Chris Rock or both I would assume Smith, by the way, but Rock's joke was a tad far and nowadays that can get you in just as much trouble
  12. I did notice her a few times around the Vuokatti EYOF, but competing again?! Awesome (although I assume it stays within the Finnish borders)
  13. You're right about the long individuals, I did mean the emphasis should be on sprints. They could somehow try to find a way to split the field in half or something, because in the qualifying competition that is the IBU Cup, it just sucks to have a lot of top-x-only events. Plus only sprints and individuals (and supersprint qualifiers, nowadays) give IBU qualifying points, which are essential too.
  14. And then be disappointed almost half of the time? But yeah, awesome to see the Individuals and especially to see the SuperSprints stay down in the IBU Cup (where I'm not a fan of them neither, IBU Cup should be a very very large part sprints and individuals, with very few relays and basically no pursuits, but alright)
  15. So, did you?
  16. If it wasn't for this 'incident', I would have had no clue the Oscars were last night. So yeah, I'm agreeing with your point there
  17. Because I wrote wrong and it was late and I was sleepy and confused about the format and thought everyone would have two home games scheduled. Main point: I meant the (on paper) Belarussian home games Much better than cancelling them, anyway.
  18. Hehe, Will Smith probably needed some more attention and so they came up with this thingy? Oh well.
  19. Less than Monaco or Baku. And I still prefer a bit of a dangerous track with lots of action than a safe track with mostly boring races.
  20. Meanwhile the director was making a hell of a mess of the broadcast. Those impossible helmet cams all the time, making it near-impossible to see what's going on, and even a long shot of some random fans at a moment where Leclerc and Verstappen, fighting hard for the win in the final few laps, were just diving into the first corner almost side-by-side.
  21. That was a fantastic battle, true classic racing Bad luck for Perez which made said fight possible, but still. Hamilton got a little screwed by his team being too late with the call to box, but also generally just didn't have the pace to really go for anything much better. Two races today and both were full with fights left, right and center. Well done Jeddah, too bad it's in Saudi Arabia.
  22. Yeah, for this kind of matches the best thing to do (if they're not being cancelled) might be to just ask every non-involved federation "Do you want to host these matches?" and randomly draw one from the countries who say "Yes", and play both matches there
  23. Bini Girmay with an absolutely historical ride taking the win in Gent - Wevelgem I mean, everyone already knew this is a seriously talented guy for a few years now, he was excellent in 2020, had more good results last year and already had a very promising year so far, but Gent - Wevelgem...wow! Perfect work manouvering himself into a small lead group where he was simply the best sprinter, they had no chance!
  24. Russian army is failing left and right, Defense minister hasn't been seen for two weeks and then....how very surprising Or in better words:
  25. Him? Palermo fans who are angry with him now are the ungrateful ones, after he worked for them for years
