    Since when do you need any study at all to be a sports commentator? Be a fluent speaker (not in the language itself I mean, but in terms of forming smooth and continuous sentences without 'uh' all the time) and someone with a genuine interest in sports and you should have a good chance...

    It was quite tragic to see his introduction and seeing a bunch of people starting to wave their flags right at that moment (and sadly the TV camera picking it up as if it was some 'cool' thing). Can't provoke more clearly than those people did...

    Just catching up now, but wow, park is so much more fun to watch To the skateboarding noob, like me, it feels like this is the Olympic 100m final and street is more like the 5000m race walk at the junior European championships

    Not exactly sure, but looks like Mills started that crash at the end. Definitely sure Foppen was a victim there, he'd have been 8th and Q if he had managed to get around that.

    At least Kitaguchi is a clutch performer. Kind of like Tentoglou: in terms of outright meters it's not crazy (good, but not crazy), but she performs when the pressure is on

    Commentator clearly didn't watch javelin recently (I mean, Kitaguchi, obviously) But yeah, in terms of depth and overall qualify, women's javelin is not fantastic to say the least. Definitely my least favourite event to watch in the athletics

    I might be confused by the bracket, but how does Vinesh being overweight today mean Dilyte lost her chance for bronze? She wasn't in the bronze medal match in the first place and the athlete she beat, the Ukrainian, is in the bronze medal match.
