    First tennis medal for NZ in 109 years. Anthony Wildiing won bronze in the singles for a combined Australian/NZ then known as Australasia. Fun fact. The reason they combined both countries is because NZ was contemplating becoming a state of Australia ?

    Oh Fijians are known to throw the pill (ball) around. They play with such flair while we have always been known to be very physical and direct in 7s. That's why I liken them to the Harlem Globetrotters

    Even though I'm Kiwi you can't deny the Harlem globetrotters of 7s rugby they simply are the best. God Bless Fiji.

    Well done Poland. Poor Germany, horrible. China was probably the most assured gold of the regatta.

    Unbelievable lost their steering this so far is a shocking regatta for GB can't believe what I just saw. Inquisition indeed.

    Ian Wright is doing a fantastic job with Australia in rowing. Thank god he's coming back to NZ to coach again. That M4- is probably the most spectacular boat on the water

    I wish these commentators can do their homework. That's NZ's 4th medal in the men's triathlon not their first ??

    Well done to the Norwegian Blummenfelt. On a minor note Yee and Wilde are the new generation and you feel those two have got many more glories ahead.

    With this pitching lineup the Americans have in their arsenal I even think the much vaunted Japanese batting roster will find it difficult to get hits let alone runs...
