but of course it is not just Russia to blame , that was the first thought that crossed my mind when the Italian came out of no where to win as well lol

yeah its just confusing that they are banned yet their entire team is here competing and dominating. And athletes that have been proven to have doped before like efimova in the breastroke are allowed to compete is mind blowing

and can someone also explain why Russia was banned for two years for state sponsored doping yet their whole team who qualified is allowed to compete here in Tokyo ? They didn't have any extra doping controls or vetting process they had to go through. They are dominating certain sports, do you believe it's actual talent or results from doping
