  2. Tiril Udnes Weng - Maiken Caspersen Falla Erik Valnes - Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo Semi Finals are now at the same time as Biathlon Relay
  3. Weather Forecast for the Relays Men: Temperature: -14 degrees Wind: 4m/s, gust speed up to 7m/s Women: Temperature: -15 degrees Wind: 4m/s, gust speed up to 8m/s Pyeongchang 2018 sends its regards ...
  4. Temperature at 15:00 LOC: -14, feels like -17
  5. Relay Men https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/2122/BT/SWRL/OG__/SMRL/C51B2_v1.pdf
  6. Relay will be Knotten, Eckhoff, Lien and Roeiseland
  7. Justine Braisaz will run the relay . Hopefully it will at least start, so that the loss is not quite so huge. If not, medal for Russia or Germany
  8. Some Relay Predictions ... Women *** Norway ** Sweden * Russia, Germany, France Top favorite has to be Norway, provided Tandrevold is ready to go, they are skiing closed dominant, especially with Roeiseland they have a mega wild card. Behind them Sweden most consistent, but the running form is not so great, so only on silver. Behind them it should come to a fight for bronze between Russia, Germany and France, whereby Russia should have the best cards. Men *** Norway ** France * Russia, Germany Top favorite also here Norway, this team unity is probably not to beat. Behind them, France should be the strongest team, even if they have 3 shaky candidates at the shooting range. Behind them I estimate Russia on bronze, but give Germany quite the chance to offer competition.
  9. Niskanen/Paramakoski is fix. I think it will be mäki, he was fourth in the individual sprint. I think from the Russian team we will see Stupak/Nepreyeva and Bolshunov/Terentev
  10. All credits to Niskanen, he will be strong in the Team sprint Classic Iivo Niskanen (FIN) 28:53,9 William Pooroma (SWE) 29:30,4 Alexander Bolshunov (RUS) 29:32,0 Hugo Lapalus (FRA) 29:51,5 Paal Golberg (NOR) 29:57,1 Freestyle Clement Parisse (FRA) 27:02,1 Hans Christer Holund (NOR) 27:08,0 Jens Burman (SWE) 27:08,3 Denis Spitsov (RUS) 27:22,6 Sergey Ustjugov (RUS) 27:41,4
  11. For the relay, the loss of Ingrid would of course be extremely bitter, but that looked really bad. With her, Norway would be the clear gold favorite. Sweden is currently clear on silver and possibly Russia for bronze. For the German women, the skiing times are not right at all anymore, even if the results were ok today, the skiing times were weak. And the big favorites from France before the Games, I do not trust a medal, Bescond was really weak again today, they are simply not in shape.
  12. Should we trust this weather data? https://olympic.weather.com.cn/en_dongao/info.html?nav=3&name=国家冬季两项中心&_id=v300003&page=saiqu According to this, tomorrow perceived temperatures up to -20 degrees and also wind gusts up to 8m/s would be possible. That should be similar to the conditions of the mixed relay and we would have completely different races than the two sprints.
  13. Relay Men https://results.beijing2022.cn/beijing-2022/olympic-games/static/owg2022/pdf/OWG2022/CCS/OWG2022_CCS_C51C_CCSM4X10KM------------FNL-000100--.pdf Bolshunov is on second leg
  14. Emil Iversen Paal Golberg Hans Christer Holund Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo I think that's pretty risky. Iversen hasn't run a race here yet and the results so far this season have been nothing. In addition, Paal Golberg on the second, who has not really convinced here so far. Russia has to be aggressive and put Bolshunov on two with Niskanen.
  15. At least Roeiseland will win 3 golds and the men at least 2 in the Biathlon as well, I think. Germany has to rely on Bobsleigh and Skeleton
  16. At least the first three ladies have been around for a long time and have not been involved in anything so far, so one should be careful with such statements. Stepanova is more likely to be undescribed, although she has already won at junior level. With someone like Loginov it is something else, but not all athletes from Russia are doped. Then the medals of Pellegrino and Stadlober would also be questionable, they also train in Russia.
  17. They are just always on time in top form While in the past it was mostly due to a very strong individual performance, mostly Nystad, today was a fantastic performance of the whole collective. They simply took advantage of the fact that Norway and Sweden are completely out of shape and Finland has set up completely wrong.
  18. Dahlqvist/Sundling has been confirmed for the team sprint, maybe there a second gold
  19. Had Karlsson not collapsed so, Sundling could even have won gold here, her performance was tremendous
  20. Russia and Germany did everything right tactically, especially Stupak was the decisive athlete. And nobody knows why Finland put the two classical specialists on freestyle.
  21. Kyllonen was in the Skiathlon the fastest Finnish freestyle skier compared to her classic time, so I was quite sure she will be on the third leg.
  22. To be honest, they have no other choice than to make Chloe fit for the Relay. Justine is a disaster, just like at the World Championships last year. Slow shooting times, many mistakes and a really weak skiing form. With her, the relay can only backfire. Both Anais and Julia had at least a good race which gives hope, but with Justine they will go home without a medal in the relay. Chloe is at least a solid relay runner and I hope she is running in a good shape so that she can be used in the starting position. But with Justine all hopes would be lost before the start, she just doesn't get it right at big events. The Swedes and Norwegians are probably beatable anyway, but with Justine they would be without a chance even against teams like Russia or Germany.
