  1. Tell her we have money riding on her finishing in the top 50 Nah but yes the Brazil Totallympics Fanclub formally extends its full support all in favor I you everybody
  2. We will see. It's safe to say I won't be placing any sports bets on this, at least
  3. Yes! And her shooting is also showing signs of improvement. It used to be around 50%, and she only had 1+6 for 4 shootings!
  4. Mixed relay will only be better! I think you have a decent chance at a top 5 actually. Not sure about our team.
  5. And so Russia wins again. Doping or no doping, they have some incredible depth in their team, I'll say that much.
  6. It looks like they will beat Slovakia :O I must say Drndic is improving very fast. I think she could maybe get on the WC in a couple of years.
  7. Yes she was great to watch Looking forward to her races at the WCH. I wonder who the fourth relay member for the men will be. Probably Vaclavik, I guess. His shooting isn't the greatest, though.
  8. I didn't expect this from him honestly. I guess with the nomination pressure and the race pressure. But normally he's quite reliable.
  9. Don't worry you can root for us (I feel the same way sometimes about alpine skiing. Better to just root for Slovakia.)
  10. Yeah true that I meant in senior competition.
  11. Looks like Brazil will have a relay team this year after all! And livestreamed
  12. Must have been quite funny for us Czechs when you had to play in Division II... Poor poor Slovakia
  13. I'd only say for certainty Abdykadyrova and some of the Mongolians. But who knows? Hopefully she is motivated by her fanclub
  14. How many of them do you feel Bruna can beat?
  15. Same, I had no idea. Hahaha I'm not really going to watch the hockey much, though. Mostly biathlon, ski jumping etc Interesting we have a ski jumper from GEORGIA. Also our best female ski jumper Dolezalova is coming back, this is great news for Pyongchang, I thought she had stopped racing.
  16. I hope Eurosport broadcasts the qualifying races like last year! He'd probably be an early starter.
  17. It's possible, I hope. But taekwondo isn't really an endurance sport, if he can train up his technique and endurance he could do well. We'll see at the World Champs!
  18. Hmm... Yeah their cross country skiiers also are likely to be slow. Makaleta Stephan was over 10 minutes off at the Wch SPRINT. And the other guy is a taekwondo player. Any news on Bruno Banani?
  19. So far he's quite behind in points. Would be great to see him perform. By the way Uganda's the only country to have participated in the Winter Paralympics but not Olympics. Fun fact
  20. This doesn't really count, but remember the Iraqi , Faisal Faisal, who narrowly missed out on the 2006 and 2010 Olympics? I messaged him and he says he's coming back onto the slopes next year, probably too late for Pyongchang but is aiming for Beijing 2022! Other countries that were doing decently in past Olympic cycles include the Bahamas (snowboarder), Panama (bobsled team) and El Salvador (had a good alpine skiier who stopped racing suddenly). But that's very speculative that anything from them will happen, especially now.
  21. Algeria has a young alpine skiier who if she improves a lot could make it, and Khelifi their cross-country athlete could still be there, since he started about this late for qualifying for Sochi. Unfortunately they're not an ISU member so I don't see the figure skating thing happening for them Also I think we should add Qatar . I know it's a huge longshot, but they are trying in short track (and yes, even mixed doubles curling) and have about as much chance as say the Haitian alpine skiiers.
