    Indeed. Even Romani is throwing 22.50. I follow shot put from early 1990ies, and even in best ages i havent seen so many good throws. When Toth throwed 22.40 in 2003 it was big shock. Tell me more about hurdles. I dont follow it as shot put.

    I am curious about Rinner. Since he isnt very active, i assume that French quota in +100kg will end up in his hands even though he wont qualify personally. On the other hand, he could still directly qualify. But how many competitions are enough for his quota?

    Now we have 6 shot putters who throwed 22+ in 2019 plus few of them who are near 22m. Probably best year for shot put in recent history.

    Wow, another olympic equestrian hero retired. First Millar, now Todd. Was great watching him. If i am not mistaken he still holds a record of biggest gap from 1st to last olympic medal. First in 1984, last one in London 2012. Aladar Gerevich is actually tied with him.

    Wow, that would be unfortunate thing. FEI rules are rather strict. Interesting thing about Israel. They usually call USA or ex-Soviet born athletes to represent them, depending on the particular sport. But not in equestrian. Plus, they are rich country. How come they are bad in this sport?

    I should say - as a team. They had individuals up until Tokyo, this time they qualified a team. If i am not mistaken.

    Wow, interesting fact. Last 15 years it was just battle between Serbia and Croatia, and others were fighting for that 2nd place. Hungary declining(up until now), Montenegro declining, Spain and Italy solid as always. Now we should have very interesting final. Its good for water polo.
