  1. That curling joke from Eurosport was on point
  2. Well, that is definitely the best race of the season for team Lithuania with: Vytautas Strolia 0+2 - 50th place (and second pursuit in a row) Tomas Kaukėnas 2+0 - 64th place (apparently he overtrained during the summer and his best form is still coming) Karol Dombrovski 0+1 - 73rd place Now let's hope that our women will not continue to embarrass themselves with being on the last page at the finish line.
  3. It is nice to see Fourcade challenged
  4. Jeez Doll
  5. Gabrielė looked pretty good in the single mixed I'd go as far as saying that I think right now she is better than the three ladies that are starting in the World Cup. She will be joining up the ladies in Austria for the relay and if the results of the women's team are as bad as in Ostersund, I think they'll switch one out with Gabrielė for Annecy.
  6. Well, Schempp missing two, Kuehn three and Lesser four, I'd say zeroing problems, but then Peiffer and another German went clear
  7. I wonder how the men's pursuit is going to fold out. Norway has officially ran out of Boes, I wonder if it's going to be 60 points for Fourcade.
  8. Herrmann was very composed, a great and meaningful victory for her. Norwegian women team also looks very strong this season, Eckhoff struggling a bit though.
  9. Lapshin doesn't count as the host country will still get the quota's? Or am I wrong?
  10. I remember Zaitseva being a huge spokesperson against doping in sport, I kind of wanted to believe her. I wasn't necessarily rooting for her in Biathlon races, but I respected her as a good opponent for my favourites.
  11. Martin remains denied by the Boes. Two Boes combined could win the overall
  12. Not necessarily He could hold back 7 seconds if he doesn't give up.
  13. Hmm, if Herrmann continues getting a few more podiums here and there, we might end up seeing more cross-country skiers make the switch in the following seasons.
  14. Biathlon happened.
  15. Alright, here are some of my points on today's race, which was very packed with excitement Firstly, Herrmann picked off 23 seconds off of even Makarainen in the course time, so when she gets her shooting in a better shape, or on a better day, she seems likely unstoppable and podium potential even with 1 miss in a sprint race. Other than that, Germany was pretty under the weather, Hildebrand still seems pretty slow, Hammerschmidt doesn't look at her best as well as Preuss with Hinz, that performed way below expectations on the skis. Props to Karolin Horchler, her being the second best German tonight will certainly make the team scratch their heads. Another team that does well in this competition, but was non-existant is Italy. Wierer's shooting is not at where it has to be, very poor performance for the famous 20/20 shooter Runggaldier, Sanfilippo ruined her chances in the first prone, saving grace was Vittozzi. Another team that Eurosport did not even show once today was Russia. Slivko managed a 27th with 1 miss, 2015 world champion Yurlova 33rd, with recent season podium contenders Virolaynen, Podchufarova out of the points. All in all, Hauser is still pretty slow, as well as other Austrian girls (Zdouc 42nd with clean shooting). Surprisingly, not a single Pole in top 40. Very bad USA performance accompanied with a tragic performance from Lithuania. Now for some praise, Skardino yet again shows that she is always a factor in the individual races. Ukraine with two girls on the podium, 3 in top 30 with 60/60 shooting. Another year of improvement for Sweden with 6th / 15th / 25th Fialkova's performance, Canada's top 10, Solemdal's clean shooting, great ski speed from Braisaz and best performance of the French, Finland duo not bad either, Amanda Lightfoot making a strong impression on that Olympic quota. I'd say this race was mostly about the underdogs, so I'm interested to see how the leaders answer in the sprint.
  16. Congratulations with the Top 10
  17. Well, I knew that Diana was going to perform awfully, hoped that Kočergina would have shown a little bit more of a respectable shooting. The performance today is pretty pathetic, and that's me being nice.
  18. You're safe from 4th, at least I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.
  19. Anyways, whatever happens, this is still going to be the best season for Slovakia in a long while, with many more to come.
  20. Okay, perhaps you'll still need to work a bit, but your chances are great.
  21. Well, it's still looking like a secured podium for you, don't know what you're nervous about
  22. It seems that it's going to be a very good comeback season for Sweden. Wolfgang seems to be a great coach, cause he's bringing out the confidence out of these young girls and guys.
  23. I miss that Miri, that used to win sprints with 3 misses
  24. Karolin Horchler brought in to replace Laura Dahlmeier Also, pretty sad that Gossner and Oberhofer are still not running, even if their reasons are very 'just', I still miss them on the tour.
