Lots of the fallers DNF. One guy in that group finished, GBR ‘s Adam Fogg. Because he was able to show he’d been impeded and he finished….he got a place in the final! Lesson there for all Belgian steeplechasers.

Yeah, but the problem is that unless you are strict on Day 1 then almost every race you get a mess almost every race. As I always say, you NEVER* see false starts in swimming because everyone knows that there is no second chance. * OK, maybe from the Afghans or Congolese who don’t know the system.
