    Popovici equals Pan with 5 46 times in 100 free, he can hold the sole record if he manages another 46 time in the tomorrow's final.

    They won two gold medals by less than 0.1 seconds. For me, that's pure luck. They have 6 medals and all 6 gold medals. Everything works out for them here. Plus, they have the open water dominator Wellbroeck, who won nothing at the Paris Olympics and is now unbeatable.
     
    It's easy for you to write because you have McInthos, who's guaranteed to win two or three gold medals. Having someone like that helps you stay calm and in a good mood

    Popovici swam faster here than at U23 Euros, so hopefully he does the same in 100 free too. He'll definitely need it considering that both Pan and Chalmers are in form looking at their relay splits.

    Popovici won gold in 200m free in 1:43:64, best time of the year and his 4th time under 1:44. Clearly still the man to beat in 200 free at Worlds.
     
    Potentially another 46 in 100m free from him incoming 2 days later.
