  1. Gracenote has big Error in Taekwondo too.... Korea only send 4 players, but expected to get 5 medals haha...
  2. Group D in men's doubles have 4 teams that could be top 8. Other 12 teams would be quite happy.
  3. Drawing rule for BWF is weird.. cannot understand why they do like this.
  4. Women's single The only one to see in 1st round would be Tai vs Intanon, as Tai Tzu-Ying has suffered from injury, and Intanon is the strongest among non-seeded players. An have to win Akane and Tai Tzu Ying, while Chen need to win He or Sindhu , and Marin. Both of them are tough but An made worse draw. Women's doubles Group A absorbed most of the strong non-seeded players. Liu-Tan, Matsuyama-Shida, and Baek-Lee would easily go to round of 8. Kim-Kong and Kititharakul-Prajongjai would make it either. For Group A, China and Japan have most chances.. but I think there could be some upset. Mixed doubles Bad for Group C. Not easy to get 2nd place in both group A and D, but good draw for two chinese teams. Group B has two strong teams that could secure round of 8. Who to become the 1st place in Group B would be interesting, as well as every match in group C
  5. Okay you maybe right, and I don't want to offend you. I Just Want to know the rule.. anyway.
  6. We have to wake up until 4 AM to see all medal events and there are no football or baseball(actually not held after this olympic) team in Paris, which is the most popular team sports here in Korea, so the interest is lower than before. Hope we could get medal early, to get interest
  7. For El-Bouchti https://worldtkd.simplycompete.com/playerProfileV2?countryId=null&searchQuery=null&month=6&year=2024&subCategory1=11ea9376-4530-2b19-aefb-0af9674366aa&rankingTypeId=11ea9376-1b54-af01-aefb-0af9674366aa&userId=11e6eef4-48d9-4c48-92b4-12f817a4f090 If you see her profile in 2024 June ranking, she also have ranking of 49kg #43 World Kyorugi ranking point. I think she could also be counted into 49 olympic ranking based on this data, although this would be lower than her original January ranking..
  8. Of course I also thinks that top seed for Laurin is reasonable, but I maybe saw here that Laurin used home quota so she ll be 4 seeded. Do you have some related reference? Thanks
  9. I had Just checked for Taekwondo seeding with only -M58 80, W57 and 67+ where Korean is in. I cannot confirm but.. for M58, this looks right. M80 1. Allesio 2. Nickolas 3. Eissa 4. Seo 5. Al-Sharabaty 6. Katoussi 7. Takov 8. Barkhordari 9. Jaysunov 10. Sawadogo 11. Sejranovic 12. Marquez 13. Churchill 14. Hrnic 15. Mansouri :EOR 16. Toleugali 17. Coulibaly W57 1. Luo 2.
