Wrestling Quotas from the U23 PanAmerican Championship: 8 per class and gender. Considerations: - Paraguay qualifies 1 place in each gender and class if they sent an athlete to the qualifier only, regardless of the athlete result. - 2 WildCards for every discipline (meaning 2 in greco, 2 for womens and 2 for mens freestyle). WC to weight classes with less than 8 athletes in the qualifier. In case this doesnt happen, WC goes to a weight when we dont have a athlete or a weight with the less amount of athletes. With the Group Stage done in the final stop of the Challenger Series season, we know majority of the teams qualified to LA to play for the promotion to the 2025-26 SVNS. In the Men`s, , and qualified to the SF so therefore they are also qualified for LA. The 4th spot will be between and . The points difference is 2 points in favour of Chile, but Samoa qualified for the SF and Chile not. If the points awarded in this tournament is the same as the rest of the other events (its not clear yet), will need a 2 position advantage, meaning that if they win one of the two matches they have tomorrow they will go to LA, or if they lose both matches and Chile lose at least one out of the two. In the case Samoa lose both and Chile wins both, there would be a tie (and i dont know the criteria there really). In the Women`s, , and qualified to the SF so therefore they are also qualified for LA. The 4th spot will be between and . Colombia has the huge advantage with a 8 points difference. Thailand qualified for the SF. This means that needs a 4 position difference for a tie and 5 to win. If wins their first match tomorrow and not, qualifies. In case wins too, the next match of each team is crucial, Thailand needs to win and Colombia to lose.

The tennis would likely be the United Cup format. 1 singles mens match, 1 singles womens and the mixed, best of three. Which if this is the case, it would be impossible to make players compete in a team event, singles and doubles in only one week (and especially coming from the grass to hard). Due to this is very likely that tennis could go for 2 complete weeks, which if that happen we will see a lot of players not playing the olympics, which is not good. 2 weeks without playing for the points and money of the professional tour is impossible except for the top 10-20. The only good is that in the LA dates there are no big tournaments, only 250, and the olympics could be a preparation for the US/Canada month ending in the US open so players will not have the excuse of the surface like last year.

I would prefer the 12 teams tournament in both genders, and give the almost 80/90 quotas to a lot of sports. For example, 32 could go to 4 more teams in each gender in basket 3x3. Then, the 12 team qualification i will do it like this: Host quota gold medal of the previous olympic (-1 reduction to the confederation of the gold medal team) 3 to europe 1 oceania 2 south america 1 north america and caribe 1 africa 1 asia 1 playoff africa-asia 1 playoff of loser of africa-asia, 4th europe, 3th southamerica and 2nd north and caribe and for the women probably the same changing south and north america quotas

Joining this topic, i watched 114 films of 2024. These were my final rankings: Top 20: 1- Dune Part Two / 2- Anora / 3- Juror #2 / 4- Challengers / 5- Anyone but you (ik im the only one hehe) / 6- The Substance / 7- The Wild Robot / 8- My Old Ass / 9- How to make a killing (original title: Un ours dans le jura) / 10- Wicked / 11- Im Still Here / 12- Twisters / 13- September 5 / 14- Hard Truths / 15- How to make millions before grandma dies / 16- Rebel Ridge / 17- Maria / 18- The Apprentice / 19- Flow / 20- Civil War Honourable Mentions: Snack Shack / There was, there was not (armenian documentary) / Here / Kneecap / Hit Man / Better Man / Its whats inside / La cocina / That christmas / Didi Biggest deceptions: Blitz / Trap / Kill the jockey / The fire inside Worst of the year (personal opinion): 1- Borderlands / 2- Venom 3 / 3- The Union / 4- Godzilla x Kong New Empire / 5- Uglies Honourable Mentions of bad films: Y2K / Emilia Perez / Nightbitch / Argylle / Lee / Babygirl / Kinds of Kindness --- Oscars related talk: Im fine with any of the films winning best picture except nickel boys and of course emilia perez. In terms of acting, i preferred Chalamet over Brody, and im ok with Mikey Madison or Fernanda Torres for the best actress. Im kinda not ok with Culkin and Saldana winning supporting because they are basically lead in the film (especially zoe saldana), so i would like if Yura Borisov or Jeremy Strong wins it. My biggest wins of the night would be if Im Still Here or Flow win best international instead of Emilia Perez and if the scumbag of Jacques Audiard goes empty handed.

For anyone interested, 2 movies released in digital (meaning for buy, rent or to watch in your reliable pirate page) this week regarding the Olympics. One was The Fire Inside, a biographical film about Claressa Shields, two times olympic gold medallist in boxing and the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in boxing. The other is September 5, which is a drama film who narrates the coverage of a US TV network during the terrorist attack against the israeli delegation in the Munich 1972 Olympics. This movie got an Academy Award (Oscars) nomination in Best Original Screenplay.

i cant believe that Watanabe is still with the idea of a 5-continent olympics -
We are playing so bad this last two years its so sad to watch. Its not like we were a top team a couple of years before but at least we compete against the top teams (compete = not losing by more than 10/12 or at least a even match in the first half). So sad
