  1. Polish commentators must have noticed Tomingas' success since they call her "their new favorite tall biathete" I wonder if she upgrades so they talk about her looks next...
  2. I have AAF on stream
  3. Kazakh guy 1/8. Not exactly Gontier level
  4. Having (too much) faith in Vlhova was the reason for this success Now watch out because Fialkova won't win 3 golds in Ostersund
  5. Daytona 500 or mixed relay? Multi-tasking? Tomasz Sikora says our team can finish Top 8. Good thing the men go first so we can only go up after the first two legs
  6. Damn it, I feel old now...
  7. Randy Lajoie suffered a facial damage... on his hood
  8. Frida Karlsson went off like crazy and led until the 7km mark before she run out of gas. Still finished 7th in her first ever World Cup race. Guess she'll only become better in the future?
  9. Yaaas!!!! Girl from Utrecht born in That was too obvious even for me
  10. I'll take a wild guess she's another import from or
  11. Given how all the races were shortened here in Are it's curious this was Shiffrin's longest slalom time by over 17 secs. Her previous three titles were all won by a time below 1 min. & 40 seconds mark
  12. Hojnisz 7th & Zuk 8th which is a very good result. I'm shocked Zuk hit 10/10 in the stands. Wierer with the second fastest skiing time but 5 misses means Vittozzi takes the overall lead. Tomingas ties her PB from yesterday in 14th.
  13. Hildebrand gets clowned by Herrmann on ski speed (expected but still...)
  14. Hildebrand's race to lose but she needs 5/5. Vittozzi will probably take the overall lead after this race.
  15. You've probably jinxed her now
  16. Wierer 3 misses on the first prone
  17. Well, Shiffrin lays down the law. There was no holding back in the 2nd run anymore. Pleased for Swenn-Larsson. Epic choke from Holdener, she might have two golds but this girl just can't match the best skiers in slalom.
  18. Yeah, it was because of Canmore. They wanted a day off in Canada after spending like 36 hrs to travel there from Slovakia (including two plane flights).
  19. No ice... no pace for Vlhova... Maribor all over again...
  20. Schild is fuckin' pathetic...
  21. Shiffrin very hard on edges? Seems not the way to go at all. But she still found 0,4 secs at the bottom.
  22. More rain before the women's slalom. I wonder how Vlhova does in these conditions. This isn't what she prefers at all.
  23. The thing is that's our old excuse on the women's side for decades. Any nation can produce like one junior who translates the success into the World Cup scene except for Poland. Hojnisz winning the mass start WC bronze at age 22 is the youngest we've had with such a prolific result ever. All the others had their best results when they were nearing 30 yo or even beyond that. Zuk has had more junior success than anyone before her and this Soldier Hollow sprint was the FIRST time she hit 10/10 in the seniors. Not to mention she's never hit 20/20 either. We're not bad shooters but there's always one miss too many for our girls since like the 90s. Weronika Nowakowska was a miss away from Olympic medals TWICE and then Anna Stera who was one shot away from bronze in Nagano 1998 where she was the only girl in Top 10 with 2 misses (finished 6th, the next best with two misses was 13th, everyone else hit 9/10 or 10/10).
  24. I never saw Parve on TV due to obvious obstacles though I remember Erika Salumae who managed to win some hardware under the flag? (even though I dislike that sport).
  25. What's the best ever result for EST biathlon? Eveli Saue's 5th place in Hochfilzen 2006?
