    Yes, but the current team is more reliant on the leader than any of the ones you mentioned. So USA might still get a nasty shock if the don't come up with a proper new leader once Biles is gone. The depth seems a little suspect already with Skinner on the team at age 24 which is ancient by gymnastics powerhouse standards.

USA doesn't need to use a grandfather clause in a sport they can field a ton of new girls each year. Of course it's all to be tested when Simone Biles retires because she's kinda soaking up all the spotlight all the time.

    Lewandowski will have a bigger chance due to lack of pacemakers so strong finish will decide all regardless of time. Gateshead meeting on Tuesday. Natalia Kaczmarek will be the only athlete present.

    Even if Schick scored 10 goals he wouldn't have made it to the Team of the Tournament. Sadly Eastern Europe doesn't even get one player in which doesn't really surprise me.

    I see you totally removed endurance aspect from cycling? Max. 90 kms for three heats is a joke for modern cycling It would be laughable if a domestique won the climb & sprint and his team would get 0 points for it and maybe didn't even get a medal because of it. It's as useless as field events in Diamond League when you can beat a World Record and still finish 4th in the event

    I won't be surprised if they actually invite a non-UEFA member(s) to take part in Euros in the future. I mean even Japan played at Copa America before. And like Argentina or Uruguay are full of Italian immigrants to begin with?

    Hideki Matsuyama tested positive for COVID and is out of The Open but should be fine for the Olympics? I picture him as the potential face of the Games (other than some judo stars).

    Maybe not many old-timers here but I remember Batistuta playing for Fiorentina I don't remember much from 1986 World Cup (still had some fancy stickers from that) but 1990 World Cup was the first one I watched in full. Not exactly what Argentina wants to remember though
