  1. Yeah, pretty much this. She also has USO 4th round and Chicago 500 victory. She's pretty much had three good tournaments in the last 10 months
  2. Crazy finish to the Premier League with Man City coming from 0-2 down to win 3-2. Not quite as mind-blowing as the Man City vs QPR game 10 years ago but the best since then.
  3. Linette played really well from the second set onwards. She led 4-2 in the third before losing that advantage and it looked like she will collapse in the end like she so often did before but somehow she broke for the match from 0-40 down. Jabeur really blew it with some wild overhands and it seemed like the pressure of being one of the GS favorites got to her.
  4. Dominating the Korn Ferry Tour doesn't say much to say the very least. Back in 2003 it was still a time when older guys could still win. In the modern long range game it's way harder to come out of nowhere and win a major - unless maybe US Open decides to go nuclear with their courses.
  5. Magda Linette takes out the in-form Ons Jabeur in the first round!
  6. Mito Pereira who's basically done nothing except being in the OG bronze medal playoffs last year leads the PGA Championship by three shots after three rounds. This will either be the biggest golfing upset in XXI century or another of these epic meltdowns in the final round
  7. Martina Trevisan has won the Rabat title. Her first WTA title at the age of 28.
  8. Sakkari has Anisimova (if she beats Osaka in R1) scheduled for R3. That is probably the worst R3 draw for any Top 8 seed.
  9. The decision was ineviteable. WTA threw out the Chinese money because of one player and now they are boxed in a hole i.e. they have to follow ATP's lead. Russia remains top two country when it comes to depth in Top 100 of the WTA rankings and they've led that charts over the years too.
  10. Well, if EBU decides that all jurors should vote for different songs and they can't like the same group of songs then why even hold the jury vote in first place? Has EBU ever questioned the Greece/Cyprus 12 point exchange as "irregular"? Since EBU decided to give 12 points to Great Britain instead of Ukraine it's clear EBU themselves rigged the voting to cost Ukraine the win. But they failed.
  11. I assume the final will be played at Rose Bowl aka the biggest US stadium?
  12. Well, there were no 4th places in this tournament
  13. If you ban countries from voting they would probably pull out and ESC would go back to it's roots - you'll eventually be left with eight Western European countries + Australia. Only EBU can sell taking support away from Ukraine in this day & age as "irregular". What a bunch of clowns.
  14. It's a complete travesty of the voting system. EBU openly claims they can rig the voting whichever way they want to if only some songs that were supposed to be unpopular receive too many votes from certain countries that can be deemed "illegal". What an absolute joke that is. I guess EBU really wanted Great Britain to win? Sorry, they have to rig the votes a little more next year
  15. Toborek wasn't even supposed to be here. Martyna Jancelewicz who also won the Junior European Champs in March was the designated -81 kg fighter but got injured and Toborek replaced her at the last minute. Toborek won the junior title in the +81 kg class.
  16. Unless they bring back 50km time trial I'm not interested
  17. This stupid name will be official? Małopolska aka Lesser Poland is the region where Kraków is located. It sure doesn't sound as fancy as Emilia-Romagna and nobody outside of Poland doesn't give a hoot about it IMO
  18. Stonkute upsets the Turkish favorite in the other semi-final vs light heavyweight final. Party like it's 1569
  19. Oliwia Toborek into light heavyweight final She only turned 20 years old last week.
  20. Panguana into the light middleweight final
  21. Imane Khelif into the light welterweight final where she will face Amy Broadhurst.
  22. Will Pasta save the Czechs or are they set to remain the shitshow of the championships?
  23. Antonia Fraebel (28th in 10km classic at Beijing OG) has switched to biathlon. She also married Philipp Horn two days ago so she will go by Antonia Horn now
  24. Six countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania & San Marino) had their jury votes annulled and EBU gave those points based on some mysterious voting patterns. Azerbaijan & Georgia jury wanted to give 12 points to Ukraine and EBU gave those 12 points to Great Britain I mean the voting is rigged by EBU and they are even gloating about it? How long until this nonsense continues?
  25. Two medals for guaranteed. Oliwia Toborek (-81 kg) and Lidia Fidura (+81 kg). Aneta Rygielska (-66 kg) lost vs Algerian 2:3
