  2. I recommend Takeshi's Castle as Olympic Sport!
  3. Obstacle course? My lord this is some bad shit. Guess the urban events are being sold as the new future. What a load of croc. Just kill this sport already. I have a feeling it will die within the next five years anyway. Rope swing? American Gladiators had more innovation 30 years ago than this shit.
  4. Karolina Muchova beats Maria Sakkari 7-6 7-6 in R2. Sakkari will take a big hit in the rankings after defending SF points. Muchova plays the in-form Amanda Anisimova in R3 next.
  5. Looks like she picked up an ankle injury in R1 vs Kostyuk and WD before her R2 match. Clay season is over anyway save for the backdoor MMs but it's a tough outcome.
  6. Aliaksandra Sasnovich takes out Emma Raducanu in three sets in R2 so a bit of a payback for the Wimbledon ban
  7. Need more emojis or people will think you are serious here
  8. MotoGP Finnish Grand Prix has been postponed to 2023 due to "ongoing geopolitical situation in the region" among other things. https://www.motogp.com/en/news/2022/05/25/grand-prix-of-finland-postponed-to-2023/421737
  9. It appears the next step for USA is allowing 13 year olds to carry weapons into school at this rate. GOP won't do anything about it and Democrats are too scared to strike down the 2nd Amendment so nothing will change anytime soon
  10. Hah! And I wanted to wait until December until the new names updates
  11. @Federer91There is lack of teams for a "competition" to be held. Only 11 teams took part in WOG, take away China & Russia you have nine, including Switzerland which sometimes skips team events on purpose and USA which doesn't have four spots to enter in individual rounds anyway. And Finland didn't bother entering WOG and they have more problems with this sport overall. Italy & Kazakhstan don't appear to be interested and France lost interest many moons ago.
  12. Death toll rises to 19. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-61573377 Yeah, it's become so regular in USA nobody really cares about it at this stage anymore.
  13. Holger Rune takes out Denis Shapovalov in three sets. Let's see if this is Denmark's biggest win of the day
  14. Due to the World Cup in Qatar the new season will start on November 6th in Wisla and for the first time ever the competition will be held on plastic run-offs which is standard for the summer events. The season will close on April 2nd which makes it the longest ski jumping season ever. Pretty expendable in a sport where only 10 nations compete on a reasonable basis and some of them are semi-professional to say the very least. Also Vladimir Zografski has moved to Poland full-time (his wife is Polish).
  15. Kucova did run out of gas and AKS won the decider 6-2. Match lasted 2h 57 minutes which is the second longest women's MD match so far (Azarenka vs Bogdan was 2h 58).
  16. @hckošiceSlovakian derby going into the third set. Kucova served to win in two but lost in TB. 2 hours & 20 minutes for two sets. Should be over three hours unless someone runs out of gas next.
  17. Rebecca Sramkova enters the MD as lucky loser after Rebecca Peterson WD. Sramkova lost to Linda Noskova in the last round of quals otherwise. She will be a total outsider vs Darya Kasatkina tomorrow.
  18. Diane Parry takes out defending champion Barbora Krejcikova in three sets. Krejcikova was never going to be a factor since she played zero matches on clay due to injury but R1 loss still looks bad.
  19. 71,27m! Wonder what he does in the Hengelo wind like Malachowski once
  20. Naomi Osaka might be the first prominent player who skips Wimbledon because of the points decision. https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/61553327 She was never a strong pick to make a deep run since she hasn't made it past R3 in clay/grass Grand Slams before.
  21. I wouldn't suspect CNN of click-baiting unless US media is really that garbage these days?
  22. Amanda Anisimova beats Naomi Osaka 7-5 6-4 in R1. Greek fans might not like that result given the draw and Anisimova's clay form this season.
  23. Joe Biden says USA might use military force to defend Taiwan if neccessary. Yeah, the last thing this world needs is USA vs China nuclear war https://edition.cnn.com/2022/05/23/politics/biden-taiwan-china-japan-intl-hnk/index.html
  24. I mean you can't blame Guardiola for pure results. 29 wins in 38 games is as good as it gets in the modern days. They finished 19 points ahead of Chelsea and 22 points ahead of Tottenham. The only problem was Liverpool was able to stay within a one-match distance until the last week.
