The 8.20m at Bhubaneswar in the last week of September helped the 19-year-old become the first Indian to qualify for next year’s World championships in Doha. Also making the cut is Haryana’s Anjali Devi in the women’s 400m with her stunning 51.79s (qualification time 51.80s), which came as she won the National Open gold.

 

These 2 are the early qualifiers for the World Championships later this year.
