Users can vote for the additional prediction contests he/she wants. Notice! Users are able to vote for more than one contest.

 

Already pre-selected prediction contests for the last half of 2023:

 

- Women's Football FIFA World Cup 2023 - July 20 - August 20

- Swimming at the FINA Aquatics World Championships 2023 -July 23-30

- Athletics WA World Championships 2023 - August 19-27

- Men's Basketball FIBA World Cup 2023 - August 25- September 10

- Women's Handball IHF World Championship 2023 - November 30 - December 17

 

Poll closes on June 16th, 23:59.

Shouldn't the Water Polo just be classed with the rest of the World Aquatics Championships?

The prediction contest for the World Aquatics currently only has swimming (pool) events listed. Diving, marathon swimming and artistic swimming are not included. It hasn't been the norm for these events to be part of the prediction contest. 

 

Usually we have also had a separate prediction contest for the men's and women's water polo tournaments.

Ah, that's a shame. Surprised you don't do the Marathon Swimming along with the pool events as half the swimmers that do the marathon also do the long distance pool events, maybe that's summat you could do this year.

As there are only 5 events in marathon swimming, I will maybe consider to include those evetns in the contest.

If there is a tie for one of the 5 spots, is there a tiebreaker or will both the ones that are tied be chosen?

In case two or more events are tied for the 5th spot, a random draw will be made to decide the fifth prediction contest.

Cycling UCI World Championships 2023 - August 3-13

Combined Canoe Sprint and Slalom ICF World Championships - August 23-27 and September 19-24

Rugby WR World Cup 2023 - September 8 - October 28

 

*Fencing FIE World Championship 2023 won in a random draw against Rowing FISA World Championships 2023 and Artistic Gymnastics FIG World Championships 2023 as all events ended with a total of 10 votes each.
