  19. For the second Olympics in a row we managed to finish first under the qualifying line, despite being more than 80% of the qualifying period in. That is some achievement, maybe third time will be a charm and LA will see a return of slovak triathlete, but obviously will not happen, everybody sane knows that.
  20. I dislike cheaters, and what they did in the last group match last year was intentional cheating which cost us the Olympics and we´ll never forget that.
  21. Czechs obviously. There no question about. Plus, Since last year Whoever play against Switzerland will receive always support from Slovaks.
  22. Disciplinary Panel Jan Rutta suspended The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Disciplinary Panel has issued a one (1) game suspension to Czechia’s Rutta, Jan (number 44) for violating Official Playing Rule 45 (Elbowing) against Sweden's Lundestrom, Isac (number 37). The incident occurred at 34:20 in the 2nd period of Game number 61 between Sweden and Czechia on 25 May 2024. The Championship Disciplinary Panel determined that because the Player extended his elbow away from his body to make direct head contact with Sweden’s number 37, the Player recklessly endangered Sweden’s number 37, therefore violating Official Playing Rule 45 (Elbowing). In addition, the Panel determined that the hit was made on a player who wasn’t in possession of the puck and was therefore ineligible to be hit. The Player clearly separated his arm from the body, and, with his elbow, made direct contact to the head of Sweden’s number 37 who was unaware and unable to protect himself from any contact by the opposition player. For the above-mentioned reasons, the Disciplinary Panel determined that the Player violated Official Playing Rule 45 (Elbowing), and shall be sanctioned as follows: Suspension for one game Due to the suspension, the Player will miss tomorrow’s final between Czechia and Switzerland. The Player will be allowed to celebrate on the ice with his team during medal ceremonies.
