While there are certainly users who intend to appreciate songs irregardless of their language, there are some pretty clear patterns going on every edition. Maybe because users who appreciate foreign entries usually end up awarding completely different songs? Anyway, in these 13 editions we have in general witnessed name-recognizing patterns, English songs nesting in the top half, regular friendliness towards debuting/returning nations. Oh, and famous songs underperforming, probably because everyone freaked out when Zombie had a victory lap for the entire contest. Take our Danish hosts for example. They are pretty good at switching between English and Danish songs. And yet, all of their four top 10 finishes were achieved when they entered a song in English, I believe.

Well, if there was no advantage on the altitude, then surely you would also consider those times 'worthy'?

Even though that really shouldn't be possible. You can just disregard high altitude if you wish so.

15th place for us with 78 points. Starting from the 2018 Annual, we have finished 3/4 successive contests on 77 or 78 points... It could have been worse, but I hoped for more. Especially after that start when we took a lead after 3 votes, and despite already voting!!! But, as we know, that turned out to be just a cruel draw more than anything else. At this point I don't believe a top 10 finish (or just going above 100 points) is in the cards for us. It's a tough pill to swallow. Maybe a sign that I should try some more experimentations. Finishing on 0 points would be making history after all... Anyway, thanks to everyone who awarded points to Maksim, specially to for giving us medals.
