  1. @kungshamra71 with his best attempt at getting a Scandinavian visa. Also, thank you for the point Portugal
  2. Kinda same to be honest. School cliques were just a bit too overwhelming for me, which is why I mostly found home in a smaller, quieter environment of my music school.
  3. Seeing as me and nearly everyone that I voted for is drowning in the second part of the scoreboard, I think it's safe to affirm that I'm cursed this edition
  4. I don't remember when I voted in the latter part of the contest, but I think I wouldn't want to for this exact reason
  5. Until @Wanderer comes in to make sure that no one wins. And also gives @dcro the famous Zealand's 12
  6. Wow Sweden seems like such an anomaly when looking at all of the other points. I'm genuinely surprised.
  7. Don't tell me that you were the shy loner when you were growing up?
  8. I had mostly female friends when I was growing up, so music where the guy is always the problem just doesn't resonate with me anymore
  9. funnily enough, the line "is every opportunity for every guy to creep me" was the one that put me off. Was very close to my top 12 though, even with that.
  10. Anyways, this is how my all time points look after 16 TISC contests. I only took the top 25 this time. These charts look pretty top heavy, that might also have something to do with that a lot of countries selections that I loved in the past are no longer participating in these contests. Ireland right now is on the longest ongoing point streak, the record is held by Great Britain at 7. GB is also the country that missed out on points only three times and they haven't participated in one contest. There are two countries on a 100% percentage and it's Vietnam with 1 participation and Estonia with 3. United States usually steal all of my medals, this is why they're first. China up in 24th place just from the last two contests.
  11. I'm very surprised by its performance (expected a four-way battle between Ireland, Sweden, Canada and you guys), but I think you might find your way back into a top 10 in the second part of this contest. There are definitely some results that I can't comprehend, but I guess it just shows how my personal music preferences don't align with Totallympics users at all
  12. Honestly, Ireland and UK have more of those, but they never freakin' use them
  13. You know, I was immediately pissed, because I was blasting that song a lot of times before it was even entered into the contest. Congratulations on becoming the second country to ever get 12 points from Lithuania twice Though a different Laura Marling album and you would've probably been done.
  14. One of the songs that I really hoped I could place higher, but there was no way I could put down the songs above it.
  15. OKAY, time to spill some Lithuanian tea that was promised For starters, my reserve countries were in this order: Israel Moldova Romania Slovakia @konig and @dcro you guys went out in the top 22 stage. Now, there were two songs that would have gotten points, buuuuuuuut Czech Republic. Anyone who listens to Twenty One Pilots, you can literally sing both Stressed Out and Heathens on the Czech instrumental and it was driving me insane, so I had to abandon that song. India. Oh India. You had everything that you needed to get into the top 12 for me, buuuuuut the lyrics. I haven't seen such amount of cheese since my homebaked lasagna. The voice and melodies were great, but I couldn't listen to it unironically. If it had been in hindi, it probably would have gotten into the points, because I wouldn't have understanded it.
  16. lithuania UNITED STATES 12 GREAT BRITAIN 11 SWEDEN 10 CHINA 9 IRELAND 8 NETHERLANDS 7 DENMARK 6 NEW ZEALAND 5 PORTUGAL 4 GERMANY 3 SPAIN 2 BULGARIA 1 Goodbye from jury in National language Tai buvo Lietuvos komisijos balai, gero likusio šou! English Translation of Goodbye Honestly, I feel betrayed this year. USA chooses Finneas, an artist which I love. UK chooses Laura Marling, my top 4 most listened to artist of ALL TIME. China sends the same artist that got 3rd from me last year. Ireland picks Dermot Kennedy. New Zealand picks Ladyhawke that got 12 points from me recently and Germany returns with Silbermond that got points as well. I feel like this was decided for me before it even started :D
