  1. linford christie, barcelona 92. didnt know what i was watching, but hooked. cant think of that without thinking of derek redmond though 😭😭😭
  2. tarling in the omnium would be a beast
  3. is there anything more dangerous on two wheels than a womens madison race
  4. yeah i just followed the belgium girl on insta
  5. russian slides up into finucane...finucane gets dq'd make it make sense
  6. gonna be here all night with this race, just shuffle the bodies into the middle and carry on
  7. some of what coe said IS nonsense in that article, but it we are just talking about, for example, hosting pole vault and shot put etc in a more accessable city center venue (like the set up they had at the diamond league finals) i think its a great idea
  8. i dunno, ireland shelving their programme, no one else in europe should be anywhere near GB i would hope
  9. england v germany euro finals would be higher than that (he says without checking anything)
  10. And STILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL reigning and defending champions of europe beating austria, who rocked them at the world games competition a couple of months back, The men finished 4th
  11. or, like GB they play around with the crews with an eye on making the best groupings for 2 years before when it really matters but sure "boosters" is easier to explain away
  12. whoops. women's 800m and men's 1500m i got it right, and those are going to be good events for us right through the rest of this cycle. Relays were a disaster apart from women's 4x100 (just lacked a third leg runner, and neita is starting to decline) biggest problem i have with our relays is their unwillingness to go for it in the mixed 4x400. The dutch do, and still do well individually. Would like to know what MHS issue was, doesn't seem to be a team player. Men's individual 400m, given the competitiveness across the event i was probably a bit optimistic. Women's PV was just an injury, it happens Amy Hunt, behind keeley and maybe molly, will be our brightest prospect throughout the next olympiad, hopefully burgin remains injury free, those two are the biggest sparks from this week. no one will convince me that morgan lake won't win a major world medal at some point in her career, hopefully shes saving it for L.A 5 medals, no golds, not a disaster but an under performance across the board but there's 3 years to fix, and a big home europeans next year will set the tone for the rest of the cycle
