i don’t this narrative of the games not being a success for GB will hold whatsoever. Lots of nearly moments of bronze and silvers turning into gold, sure, but overall (& Epic can confirm this with his top 8 tally) the Games has been very successful for the team

I'd say 64-66 for total medals, not 60-62. Already on 58, plus the guaranteed Gold/Silver from Cunningham. Then you've got the 4x400s, the MP women, Finucane/Capewell, Carlin, Men's Madison, Women's Omnium, Artistic Swimming, Muir... Hard not to see another 4-5 medals out of that lot.

That’s a stunning run from him. As far as non medals go, that’s up there with biggest pleasant surprises of the games 

We will change up Toby with AHW I expect after Alex showed strongly
in the mixed relay. Also need more out of Sam on leg 1 (he split a 45.68 when he split a 45 flat for Both legs earlier in the mixed)
 
Emma best chance of gold for the remainder but like I said the taekwondo fighters could deliver and I still have faith in Kate French. Think she will be in the shakeup.

Yes of Course - some people on here are making ridiculous claims that they were conserving energy because of how Barker finished the race and mistimed the effort at the end. Seriously, for those who don’t follow the sport regularly, hesitate before posting nonsense.
 
madisons are hard to predict, Italy timed their lap gained perfectly and no one followed. If GB attacked like that they would have been marked immediately by the US Kiwis and French among others.

Seriously the misery guts in this forum need a sit down with a therapist.
 
it wasn’t a case of attacking too late; Neah was suffering from doing 2 lap lead out sprints on multiple occasions. Elinor couldn’t have got the lap herself at the end.

That’s my highlight of the games. No one could believe the Japanese climber fell just as he approached the gold target hold. Least of all Toby who was agog for want of a better word.
