    I don't know if she is more important or not than an abstract entity like a country but she is (or should be) more important for IOC, which is the relevant aspect for our discussion here.

    The only one in world sport that could make a difference putting out a public statement is IOC. If China sees there's any risk of a serious boycott or threat on their games they will let her go quickly.

    Just watching the second half of the swiss game and they got like 5 goals since I'm watching (2 annuled by the tiniest of margins). I wonder what ever happened during the first half?

    I'm talking about what should be -in my opinion- not what will actually be sanctioned. 4th official directly authorizes substitutions so they should be held responsible for such mistakes.

    I don't think Congo should be disqualified, it is the 4th referee ineptitude that allowed this. They should be keeping track of the substitutions and preventing teams from making illegal ones. It's not different than the main ref allowing a handball goal, it's the referees job to enforce the rules. At best the match should be replayed.

    Chile away it's not easy at all. Any betting site will have Chile as favorite. Ecuador is also normally poor away from home.

    I mean, wouldn't be surprised if Greece gets a result, the spanish XI looks terrible. Midfield of Koke, Rodri and Gavi (17 year old kid with like 10? professional matches), in attack 3 average guys... Of course now they will win 0-3 and I'll look like a fool.
