  1. Bad night for the Balkan nations as both and lose their final fighters. also bows out.
  2. With Patris Murghalzai bowing out of the competition this evening I thought it was worth doing a trawl to see if there was any update on Reese Lynch. For those not aware, it turns out that Lynch was competing at the European Games with a possible rib stress fracture in his back. About a month after the games, the rib broke. This was followed by a further rib break about a month or so later - apparently occurring whilst helping his mum bring her shopping in from the car. All of this means that Lynch hasn't fought competitively since the European Games. As of the end of January, Lynch has been cleared to shadow box and is hoping to be in the frame for selection for the final Olympic qualifying tournament in Bangkok at the end of May.
  3. Probably last for the tournament - with the streaming starting tomorrow not sure my unofficial results service will be needed

  6. Probably my last results of the tournament: Men's 71Kg - Christos Karaitis def. Ladislav Horvath Men's 92Kg - Mateusz Bereznicki def. Joseph Kostur Men's 92Kg - Sadam Magomedov def. Tyron Kofi Amo Men's 63.5Kg - Aleksej Sendrik def. Stelios Kirsanidis
  7. Men's 92Kg - Jamar Talley def. Ayoub Maanni (5-0)
  8. Men's 92Kg - Patrick Brown def. Boban Ilioski (5-0)
  9. Men's 92Kg - Soheb Bouafia def. Leclerc Nogaus (5-0)
  10. Men's 63.5Kg - Radoslav Rosenov def. Mukhammedsabyr Bazarbay Uulu (3-2)
  11. Not a result - but Mohamed Firisse (defeated in Round1 Men's +92Kg) underwent surgery on his hand in Milan today.

  17. Sorry to disappoint @Illya but the only nation we lose at the end of session 13 is . still in the hunt for those Olympic quotas... for now at least.
  18. Men's 92Kg - Lazizbek Mullojonov def. Darius Voisnarovic (KO Rd 2)
  19. And from my perspective, great to see their federation post the results within minutes and are straightforward to understand
  20. Women's 54Kg - Im Aeji def. Melissa Mortensen (3-2)
  21. Men's 92Kg - Odai Alhindawi def. Carlos Rodriguez
  22. Oh FFS!! actually lost 4-1!!
  23. Men's 71Kg - Zeyad Eashash def. Ronald Chavez
  24. Men's 63.5Kg - Ismail Umar def. Saparmyrat Odajev - Not 100% sure about this one. Based on Google translate, the Finnish federation went big on their rhetoric "Oh the scattered sound of scattered voices!! A more detailed result will be updated ASAP. But the name comes to mind Ismail Umar" That doesn't sound like a loss to me.
  25. Women's 57Kg - Lucie Sedlackova def. Szabina Szucs
