The less politics part essentially confirms my suspicion that both Belarus and Russia will compete under their own flag in 2028. The Refugee Team may be at risk or at the very least the team will be a lot smaller. In terms of sport program, I think the plan is to remove nostalgia from the equation. If an event only has 10-20 active nations then maybe it doesn't belong at the Olympics. -
