Did she negotiate with the Italian federation until the end?   For me it is sad that we have lost the only great talent in this sport for many years. Since Bassini, we have no one in technical competitions in alpine skiing. Giorgia Collomb is the same age as Colturi, and she has a problem to get single points in the World Cup. Basically, after the departure of Goggi and Brignone in 2026, our skiing will die. There will be only Bassino, also in his 30s. No average Italian will waste half a day on Saturday to see Peterlini take 20th place, and Rosetti and della Mea do not finish 5 out of 6 slaloms in one season.

First event of mens world cup today but i am not excited about it at all.    i think i have watched much too much ski jumping for the last 25 years and i just got bored with it   bring on cross-country in Kuusamo!

And I'm thinking you can count World Cup medals in ANY sport for  on the fingers of one hand.
